Gametype:One Side Assault 4 v 4 Plant and Destroy is a gametype inspired by search and destroy. There is a class system. Teamwork is essential in this gametype. Settings Shields Shield Recharge Rate is at 200% Normal Shields Timelimit 8 rounds 1 round = 3 minutes 30 seconds sudden death RESPAWN The initial respawn system starts at 10 seconds. 5 seconds will either get deducted by getting kills or will get added by getting killed. To hinder spawn killing, players are given 2000 damage resistance points during their first 3 seconds after spawning. MOVEMENT 100%Speed 200%Gravity Sensor 10M normal mode VEHICLES ARE ONLY THERE FOR CALLOUTS/DESIGN. YOU CANNOT ENTER THE VEHICLES. The Basic Setup At the start of every round, 4 power ups are available to your team. They do not respawn until the next round begins. Also, you cannot combine them. Use them wisely. Weapons are placed on the weapon holders. Doesn't matter who picks them up. Classes: Purple OS: Extra Shield, Grav Lift/Trip Mine, Spike Grenade Red OS: Extra Shield, Deployable Cover, Firebomb Nade Active Camo: Camoflouge, Power Drain, Plasma Nade Custom: Faster Speed but Weaker Damage, Radar Jammer, Frag Nade Combining the powerups is impossible. The Overshields are dominant over the Camo and Custom. The Camo is only dominant over the Custom. Once Two different powerups are used by one person, one of those powerups becomes useless. Weapons: Starting Weapons: Primary-SMG Secondary-Magnum Pickup Weapons: 1 Sniper 4 Battle Rifle 4 Assault Rifle 4 Carbine ( not all maps have Carbine ) Maps: PnD_Pit PnD_Factory PnD_High Ground PnD_Last Resort PnD_Ghost Town PnD_Under PnD_Rats Nest PnD_Factory: Inspired by DE_Train, Factory has some similarities. The UNCS Factory is in deep ****. Attackers are trying to destroy many vehicles. The Defenders must defend both bomb sites. Attacker Spawn Defender Spawn B site A site PnD_Pit Used barriers to narrow down entrances to bombsites. Both Teams spawn at each opposite attic. use the grav lift to get over faster? or take the long way through mauler/shotgun spawn? Site 1 missiles Site 2 PnD_Under Slighty similar to DE_Dust 2. wow, I really love the inginuity in this but it seems a little to easy for players to spawn and grab all other players stuff, this could be solved maybe by adding rooms with teleporters? This could help force people to each be a specific class! Also explaining each class would get annoying... Other than that this seems pretty nice. Will DL tomarrow and do a forgethrough as of right now though 4/5 Nice -- I would say map but this seems more gametype based -- Gametype! EDIT: forgot to ask callout what? position? So you know what to call the bombsite. Since the non foundry/sandbox maps have no signs/lights, i used vehicles/other items so its easier to call out which site the enemy is trying to attack.
i love the idea of having the classes. i also think the maps have the same feel as COD maps have. good and cool idea.
I've seen this done before, won't you be a bit one-sided about someone grabbing multiple power-ups? The same problem applied for a few other maps I've seen with the same type of layout. Not exactly the same, but close. I give it a 7 out of 10 making it about average, sorry, but it seems to me all you really did was spam vehicles and power weapons. I suppose I like the Sandbox map, but that's pretty much it.
the powerups cancel out each other. say i grab active camo, when i grab os, the os will cancel out the active camo. did u even try out the maps? or ur just judging by screens? u clearly havent even tried it then, how did i spam power weapons when there is only 1 power weapon ( sniper ) ur basically giving out a score based on a cover. not even trying it. pathetic
