Download Code Name URBAN HERE Download TACT SWAT Z HERE Urban is a map that was inspired by other Tactical FPS type games, such as Rainbow 6. Urban focuses on the player using cover to weave strategically across the map and out flank enemies. The multitude of pathways and entrances make teamwork key as you direct allies to the positions of snipers and campers. The assymetrical map design creates a natural setting for assymetrical gametypes. One bomb and One flag can become very intense for both sides. As offense attempts to sneak the bomb in, and defense must carefully watch all the entrances. Similar to my map Intersection, I tried to create an urban setting. This one, however, focuses less on buildings and more on the entire surrounding. On this map you will not find covenant weapons. Being inspired by SWAT gametypes, the map weapons consist of Sniper rifles, Battle Rifles, Magnums, Assault Rifles, Shotguns and SMGs. Grenades are also found less throughout the map, another design choice due to being built around SWAT. Images: The four major areas of Urban The Storage Facility The Front Entrance The Parking Lot The Side Entrance Under the bridge leads to two alternate pathways into the building The Sewer entrance And the Back Alley entrance The sewers takes you directly under the building. A shotgun spawns underneath the building making it an excellent way to infiltrate, but watch for the grates and fusion cores. The key is stealth. The Back Alley entrance leads to the second floor of the building, making it easier to get an edge on enemies on the first floor The Parking lot and the Side entrance are linked by the side alley. A shotgun also spawns here, giving you another great way to enter the building. Within the building is a room where a sniper rifle spawns And from there you can get onto the roof with some careful jumps: But watch below you too, the roof has broken with age and makes you an easy target if you aren't careful.
Downloaded. Will come back and let you know after I check it out. Lots of open space, but also lots of small areas of cover. Looks like it would be very exciting with the SWAT game you have. Nice use of the whole map. I'll definitely be trying this one out in a game.
looks good Lintendo! Im definitely gonna check it out. i'll be back. curious.. i see you did interlock in some places, but why not all the boxes underneath the base?
Funnily enough, interlocking the boxes would've made the raised areas just too small to work with, unfortunately, I have to work with what I'm given with and that was not as big a priority unfortunately.
It certainly looks interesting. I really would have liked to see more interlocking though like Lightsout said
I thought that might be the case. No worries, it looks good anyways and im stoked to check it out. you never disappoint
I personally hate the Tact Swat gametype. I remember playing games on this, and I loved the objective games on here a lot more than Tact Swat. I really like the basement and the back door.
Yeah swat is only what it was designed around, but the objective games turn out to be a real blast on this map
I remember play testing this map with you. I'm sad that you don't have territories set up I think it would work well with territories but anyways I will DL it and come back later with my final word to you.
WOW! this looks amazing! the level is greatly made and the house, roads and alleys also looks really good. i am about to download it right now. *****
This is a good map for it to not be having any interlocking in it also i didnt even know you made maps!
the map looks ok, but a bit bigger than it had to be, but the name URBAN, has been used a billion times before, but i can tell you dont come here much, (72 posts) so youre fine. nice map, could have used a bit more interlocking
