This is my first map post on forgehub, although I have been going here for a bit commenting, so if I'm doing anything wrong please tell me. This map is called Heightened, which was inspired by Omni (or at least the cental piece was) It was originally to be called, MLG Heightened, but I think I broke a few MLG rules here and there and removed it. Thats why weapons on this map are- -Sniper x1 -Rocket Launcher x1 -Carbine x2 -Mauler x2 -BR x10 -and a crap load of plasma grenades Red Base (The merged Wall has a mancannon under to take you up to the base (yeah I know this part is a bit sloppy) Another Picture of Red Base Central Structure Another Picture of the central structure Rocket Spawn (note the epic floating pose) Sniper Spawn (even more epic floating pose!) Right above the sniper,below the double wall on top there's a gravity lift boosting you up to the regenerator. this map looks really cool. i like the "floating weapons" that always shows nicely it looks pretty open tho mabye im just used to tunnels and crap anyhow nice job illgive it a 4/5 right now
I can see what you mean. The only portion of the map that's really too open is by the trucks, but other than that it plays fine.
Uhh.. dude this is so plainly AWSOME!I love the use of aseathics,the forgehub post is way up to standards and you just about merged every little bit of this map!I can only see great things for you in the forge future.5/5!
wow i definetly have to agree with snipe out. this is truley amazing, although you didnt goemerge all the map basically, you made it kinda sloppy, this would have truley been amazing but you became a bit lazy with it. 4/5 and ill dl it to get a better view of the map, then ill get back to you (if i have time)
I did actually avoid it a little in comparison to my previous maps. But there are quite a few places, like mauler spawn, rocket spawn, mancannon base lift, etc etc What? Talk about an oxymoron. I dont know what you mean by boring, this map has phenomenal gameplay, and interlocking in most parts is amazing. It is sloppy in certain parts, but its definitely not boring.
I was playing with freinds and we didint have that much fun your maps good but i dont have fun on it i guess its just i dont play mlg that im not haveing fun
This is truly an innovative MLG map. The terrain is extremely smooth, and the line of sight from both bases are spot-on. However, rocket launchers are usually frowned upon on Foundry maps because of its obvious overpowerment. Also, regenerators are not allowed on MLG maps, so that should be taken off. Otherwise, great job, and keep on going!
good job dude... looks like a good map. reminds me a hella lot of omni though with the disrupted lines of sight between the bases. i havent played it yet but from the pics 4.6/5
Really good looking map, possibly not the best interlocking/smoothness, especailly with the slight drop in floor height at each base. The edges of the map are slightly baron and the whole thing could do with a bit more cover but it has very good depth and it's not boring. I do like the floating weapon spawns but the sniper spawn picture looks like it's just been dropped there. Overall 3.5/5
Hmmm... the map looks good, but it could do with the structures looking a bit more 'clean', also I'm pretty sure I recognise the main center structure from an MLG map I downloaded ages ago.
Great job. I've never seen an MLG map like this! It's creative and the aesthetics are awesome, especially the floating weapons. Keep forging! 5/5
