I used to always be able to float objects by using he advanced technique, and all the sudden is just isn't working for me....
ya ive noticed that recently too. it kinda scks becuz i used to not use it a lot but now a ton of my ideas require it and it wont work for me. possibly becuz of the 1.1 patch bungie uploaded about a month ago
yea i was before my xbox needed repairs but i didn't do alot of forge that required it so i figured i was doing it wrong but if other people are having a problem...
Well I was doing it fine yesterday... When did this problem start for you? And I know it's a stupid question, but are you trying to float stuff that doesn't float anyway?
Yeah, what? The problem is not very well detailed. Can you not float movable objects? What exactly are you using to try and float them? The more we know, the more we can help.

Someone should make a list of what is immovable and will float and what is not. On the non-DLC maps only turrets, teleporters, weapon holders, invisibility, overshields and custom power ups are immovable. If you want anything else to "float" you will have to balance it on these things. On the DLC maps there are a bunch more (boxes, bridges, fences etc).
I guess we need more detail. Make sure your using someting that floats. Post osme more info so I can help.
