this is my first sandbox map made in the crypt so please at least download and try it. ive posted some screenshots of the map below including an overview of the map and a few of the areas within the map. overview of the entire map area. 1 of the 2 bases in the map, color coded by the red and blue lights overhead. this is the red base. 1 of the small areas for weapons and an overshield with a few other power ups inside. accesible via teleporter on top of each base or just walk in. this last shot is another small side area containing some weapons and a slight place to hide. This map was made to handle the CTF gamemode but can be played in slayer mode. i will edit any problems with the map if needed ex: im not sure how well the spawns will work but they should be fine. download:Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details or: go to bungie.net and use people finder and search justy559, then go to my fileshare.
ok to start off, its extremely open, the tunnel thing looks really bad and you took you pics from a forge game. there are some nice designs and a few nice aspects but you didnt rotate the spawns so that you dont face walls, thats one of the most basic rules. im starting to think that this whole thing was made in a couple of minutes, no offense but after a second look it looks ugly.... i think thats about all i can say so ummm yeah.
Welcome to Forge Hub! I think your idea for this map is pretty cool. there are some areas that you should touch up, i.e the bridgeish thing. otherwise this map looks okay. just make sure to take some extra time to interlock some necessary areas
i guess i didnt work the hardest on this map, and as said, it has a lot of flaws. i can agree with that, but like i said i'm still working out errors and flaws etc. so this is kind of a test run kind of map. i will be working on it over time and post new versions to fileshare as it gets updated.
This actually looks like it will be really good for CTF, the openness keeps it even and there's no safe places which is good for team cooperation. I do think four warthogs are a bit much and might keep the middle a choke point. But I can't fully judge the map itself until I play it so I'll download it and test it out. Also, from the pictures I can see three power weapons so I don't know how fair this might be if a team has destroyed warthogs and power weapons against them. I would say take out the laser, the sword, and a warthog from both sides then just keep the rocket, regular ammo in the center. You should put recommended players, the list of weapons/equipment, and pictures that are not in forge because it makes the map a little cluttered. And from looking at the spawns you might want to add a little more around the map because if you have them in a group it will cause some camping, which is a bad trait in a map. Well, best of luck with the forging and I hope to see more innovative, good playing maps out of you.
This map looks a little open I think you should try to interlock more because the 3rd picture looks a little sloppy. If you don't know how to interlock go to the forging 101 section. I would like to see a v2 keep forging. What the heck apple sauce or whatever your name is all you care about is how big a map is and how clean it is I would try to add more to your comment in the future.
the map looks pretty sloppy, and could definitely use some touching up - interlocking would be nice. however, thats alright considering youre new to forgehub. otherwise, the maps alright
