Much, much harder, proof of that is the all of 2 maps that were made on old maps, both of which were not very good.

What did you have in mind? I don't know what you mean by remakes if they are not Halo remakes. Do you mean remakes from other games, like CoD4 or Goldeneye? --dc
Recreating a movie scene would be awesome, unlimited possibilities. Im not to keen on the real life location. Seems a bit limiting to architecture, and it would be similar to the shell shock contest. We need to make sure that the contest requires the map to be able to be played properly and be fun. Not something that looks all good but doesnt play well.
Futuristic game show >_> Dodge the dumpster etc. Games were you die if you lose. Or remake deathrace 2000. I voted movie sets, but they would suck. From the options, just pick a theme.
i voted a remake... but i honestly think they should have people make a timed transformer.... as if it was something like a car to begin with then over time things start to appear and make something new... :-D
That would actually be really really cool =] If you could work it that would be awesome, but I really don't think it would work well....
Although the dumpster dodger would suck as everybody and there pet's done that. Something like a gladiatorial arena or mongoose jousting.
As I mentioned before, something really abstract would be awesome I think. Themes like fruit related.. or spikey and pointy... maybe instruments orientated. Something that will get people really thinking and forging something very unique.
I like unforgable except not like Guardian or something. I mean like an idea previously thought to be undo-able such as a real hostage map or making a container float w/o teles or weapon holders(lol not really). It would be a special gametype or a new forge trick. This would make it very original and innovative. Also very very VERY hard which is why it would be bad, but I still like it. I think he means from the movie to show the movie set comparison
