This sand box infection map has many features. If you'll notice this is my first sand box map so it is a little bad. Pic of the entire land area: The map includes a underground zombie spawn area, a air battle zone,three buildings, a vehical depot, and a zombie portal base. this game has it's own varient, escape which is infection. i would say most infection games would work with this map. Ummm yeah. This map looks kinda sloppy, try interlocking some things (the back of the base, the shack with all the walls on top) maybe spread some of the weapons around the map and you'll have a good map. Looking forward to a v2!
looks great (interlocking such like hunter said would be nice) but i think its sweet how you have manipulated all three levels of sandbox to your advantage (difficult task i've tried) but i think that with a little more practice V2 will be wicked sweet. 1 question though can the zombies pick up wepons and drive and how strong are the humans and zombies(a weapons/abilities chart would be helpful) just keep that in mind on your next post.
yea please make a weapons/abilities chart and add it.... map looks good lol idk how u used all 3 lvls i couldnt even make 1/2 my map on the top lvl befor runing out of items and money and i also had to much stuff so had to delete it after spending like 4h on that 1/3 anyway nice job keep it up!
I don't get it... what's the objective for the zombie, and how does he kill... does he run fast, or does a lot of damage? You need to think about these kinds of questions, and responding to them on the initial post. Anyways, aesthetic wise, you DEFINITELY could have made it neater, and right now, it doesn't look great. I realize this is your first map, but honestly? The roofing for some of the bases you could have attempted to at least merge, because it looks like all you did was place a block inside the building, and started spamming walls on top of it, then deleting the block. Also, the base in the third base could have been better made, even if you didn't merge. 2/5 EDIT: I looked at your pics again and saw the weapons placements... that's more of an armory, which is something you want to avoid.
Thank you all for the suggestions. This map was a rush and i am kinda new to this site. I'm also not so clear on all the forgeing techniques. Most of my maps come out sloppy so i cover it up with it being a ghost town. I'm also not sure how to make a weapons and ablities chart yet. would i do that i microsoft word? ill be sure to give a little more descrption on the game type when i get the chance. thanks again!
I think the maps would look better if the buildings where put together better and had roofing. In the crypt [bottom] I could use a gravity hammer to jump over the block wall and it would just be a big empty open area! You could of stacked more blocks on top so it wouldn't be so easy to jump over.
looks sloppy i would try interlocking. I liked how you used all 3 levels of sandbox though. Ill give it a 2/5
