Yeah, I saw this the other day in the Gameroom. It's sick indeed, it took me a while to notice that a good deal of the opponents were actually pros, when I noticed I went back and watched from the beginning. I guess I'm so used to the montages you mentioned, where there's little point in checking the enemy GT's, nothing bad in itself, not everyone can play against pros/known players, but when compared to stuff like this the skill level displayed doesn't really stand in the same light.

I must say I prefer the style of montage where more focus is given to single songs, not so hot on the interweaved ones personally, but this one is certainly done well in that style, song choice is apt, and my issue is more of an artistic difference of opinion. The skill plays are good in general, some are great but some are still a little lacking imo, even if they are pro games etc. But in general, pretty damn good. The flow is good as well, clips are ordered and structured right, and I liked the whole progression. It doesn't knock the Str8 Montage off my top spot, but it's definitely up there.

Seems we continue to think alike dude :p.

    O my God!
    There is nothing to say...
    wow

Amazing montage man, I can tell that this video took hours and hours of work. I dont know if all those clips were you, but still you are amazing at halo3. I liked the effects in the video and I think that the music fit the video very well. Nice job man, by far the best montage I have ever seen.

Lol, read the OP just a little....

Turb didn't make this montage, nor it is his gameplay (unless he's keeping things from me...), he put it up here to spread the brilliance around a little.

That video was amazing. The plays were very good and the video editing was the best I have ever seen. Also very high quality which is good plus. Great job whoever made this.

    Oh god, the dreams.
No, this isn't my gameplay (thanks for clarifying Pegasi). Like he mentioned, I just wanted to spread its goodness. *good choice of vocab, Turb.*

Anyway, I agree in the sense that I like it when they focus on one song as well, but that tends to strain clips in a certain time limit.

Pegasi, have you seen this one? Its got decent gameplay, but the editing knocks Str8's out in a second imo.

Well, what do you know? :p

Pegasi, do you have a thread of top montages?

As for getting shots on pros: at 4:08, this guy four-shots T2 and he didn't get a single shot on him while aiming at him. Don't get me wrong, T2's a prodigy, but that would leave a mark on his record.

I saw Invincible a few months ago, it had very good editing like you said, and I'd agree with you that it's, maybe not better, but on the same level as the editing in the Str8 tage. His next tage he's working on is Wooooly's montage, a lesser known pro. This is an intro he made but didn't like, it's pretty good. I'm assuming the final product will be even better.

One of the best montages ever, in my opinion. The opening is simply amazing. Also the song choices are great. The editing is really what makes this.

5:54 Is pro. That was just an amazing no scope. Very nice job with choice of music in my opinion. I have seen this montage so many times, its not even funny. The transitions are incredible. Also I like the part where he falls from the sky and he takes on the whole blue team, very dramatic. Great montage all together, still my favorite of all time.

This is my favorite montage of all time. The editing is flawless and fits very nicely with the gameplay. The songs are good and coincide with the action going on. The gameplay is flat-out good too. I love this montage too.

    I still like STR8 RIPPIN's the most.
But, this is probably now my second favorite, move over LORD MONGOOSE!

Anywho, if you actually look at the player's names, a lot of them were actual pros.
I saw Severince, Tizoxic, Karma, and Soviet just to name a few.

    Awesome tage.

I can definitely agree with your entire statement Shanon, I only have two Halo 3 montages that are favorited on my Youtube account and they are they best montages I've ever seen. STR8 RIPPIN'S is one of those two montages.

On to this montage, first off I can truly say that this montage is definitely one of the best montages I've watched, it's definitely going to be favorited so I can watch it several more times. Usually nine minutes on any video is hard to keep some one watching the full duration of the video but I watched the entire duration of it, I was just so locked on to it. The editing is astounding and the gameplay is superb. STR8 RIPPIN'S montage and this montage have the best editing on any montage I've watched ever. Period.

I make videos myself and some of the things done editing wise truly amaze me. Overall, this is a must watch montage. If I were you I would click the text above the video and watch it in HD on Youtube and not here. That way the screen is much larger and the quality is still excellent.

I love this montage. The quality is top-notch, the gameplay is outstanding, and the editing is amazing. The intro is actually one of my favorite parts of the montage, especially the angle at :30. The lighting is so perfect at that moment that is really captures the feel of the music and gameplay.

The transitions between clips were executed perfectly and I'm not even sure how Frag knew the clips so well. Every dead body and piece of scenery could link to the next clip.

Also, the new song starting at 6:30 was something original that I haven't seen in a montage yet and the 3d editing at 6:32 was a great addition.

EDIT: Wow, I forgot to post and a went to play TS and a lot of people posted in front of me. :p
