Whenever I play Team Doubles on ranked, I always get matched up with Colonels...The stupid part of it is, that my highest skill WAS 31 (Now its 28 because I played a game where this guy made me lag soooo bad that I disconnected from the game...) but even then at 31 I would get Colonels. I mean work on the Skill you have 40+ on instead of 30! I'm not complaining that I hate Colonels, but there usually too good to go 2v2 with. I'm a Major who has a reputation for good Forgeing but not the best player in the town. I just want a skill that is 35. I think I might just go back to Team Slayer because now that I'm 28 on Doubles I don't have to work on that only. WHYYYYYY!
well, im a coloniel, soon to be brigader, so i will make the honorous roll of helping the knowledgeless noob on his way to unnoobification. i promise it wont be any trouble b/c i only care about my TS rank(43) and i dont care what happens to my TD rank(37)
This is how it works: Guy is a Brigadier by getting 45+ in Team Slayer, he's got 800 or so EXP. He is a level 30 in Double Team. Your a *insert rank* and you have 30 in Double Team. You'll get paired with him because your Double Team rank is the same/near his. The only time they base pairings upon your umm, Military Rank? is in Social game types. Why do I say that? Personal experience: I'm a Captain Grade 2 and I'm 46 in Team Slayer, what do I Get paired with? Colonels, Brigadiers, Generals, yeah. But I still whoop ass.
i usually get matched up w/ every possible rank in halo, like all the time, because i have high ranks on some and really low ranks (that i barely play) on others... so sometimes, i'm paired up evenly, sometimes with recruits, sometimes with generals
It's usually only because I get paired with a noob. But now, me and my friend are forming an MLG team and I'm a Commander, and my friend taught me a lot of stuff so I'm way better and I win most of my games now, Colonels or not. I'm 36 now in Doubles and yeah. This can be locked I think?
How come I always get matched up against Generals?!?! I do not get why... A little hint, once you get your general all you will play is generals. (Every gametype, ranked, unranked) It sucks. If they aren't a general yet they are still a 50. Becoming a 50 has a ton of negative aspects to it.
Today I was playing normally on a map in Team Slayer and got 31 kills and 8 deaths today and its the first time I was slandered because I was a higher rank than everybody else. "Evil bla you have no life!"
