Recently I began forging a new infection variant on the Sandbox ground level and it's been going pretty well. Assuming that I'm about 50% complete with the map, it should be complete in the near future. However, I am stuck and I don't know what to do next.

Please take the time to view my current work on this map and leave some feedback. It would also be appreciated if I got some suggestions on what I should do next, since I'm stuck and all. If you'd like to help me with it on Xbox Live just contact me. I'll be glad to work with anyone.

(BTW, Don't worry about the OLN scenery in the background)

Note: Dun worry, I'm not a newb and this certainly will not be the only place the infected will spawn.

looks ok, you should take off effects though. i personally dont play on maps with effects on, it screws me up.

Yeah, I was debating whether or not to leave the gloomy effect on. I mainly put it on for the screenshots; I wasn't really planning on keeping it.

ok good. in that case it loos pretty good. does the human base get a basement, or is the lowest floor accesible from the ground?

The lowest floor is accessible from the ground. If it had a basement I would have to expand the base into the crypt via teleporter, or tunnel, and I'm certainly not doing that.

well you could've had it so there is a staircase going down and then a teleporter at the bottom which puts you on a staircase at the top of the crypt where you go down into the basement. it would also let you make a larger basement ;)

How are you planning to have games play out on this map? To me, it seems like the humans will stay inside their main base, and let the zombies assault them in there, where the undead horde can easily be fended off. If you want people to move around, you'll have to make incentives for them to do so-weapons, better defenses, etc. The way its set up, it'll turn into a camp-fest very quickly.

Don't worry, I planned to counter this when I first began the map. I'm going to keep this equally fair for humans and zombies. I guarantee this map won't be a "camp fest."

This may seem a bit odd but why don't you spawn all the humans in different buildings, that way they'll have to communicate and regroup if they want to live.

That's one of the problems with Sandbox, everyone's too tempted to use multiple build areas.

You should just stick with building on the floor and not use the crypt or the skybubble at all (except maybe for storing OLN stuff). Seriously, how many good maps have you seen where you have access to more than one floor?

Try making a large floating area (with fake support pillars beneath it to make it realistic). Then you have more room to build, and the map's flow is broken up and the entire map feels less open. Try not to just build lots of buildings, too.
