I guess I will make my question short and to the point so here it goes. I am forging in Sandbox (crypt) and I want to make it so that if there are 2 teams playing each other they spawn across from each other, but if more teams are playing they will spawn in different corners of the map. Is this possible?
Go to your game. Press up on the D pad, then the start button, then go to Gametype (I think it's called that). From there, choose which gametype you want. Then, go to your spawns and you'll see Starting Points. Attacks and Defenders are Blue and Red, respectively. After that, Team 3 and 4, etc, will be teams like Green and Orange, etc. So put the Attacker and Defender starting points on both sides and the Team starting spawns on the corners where you want.
spawn areas were you have the 2 main teams attacker and defender set and the other areas set to 3rd 4th and so on.
You mean starting points right? Ok here's how you do it. Set up the starting points for the first two teams. Make one set attackers and one defenders. When you're only playing with two teams, the teams will have to be red and blue. Set up spawns for the other teams in the corners, and set them to third team- eighth team. When you're playing with more than two teams, make the teams be any color other than blue and red.
All of what he said, and if then of course if you are making a serious map you will place spawn points for those respective teams around their starting points. Very nice post by the way Insane, I didn't even know what Team 3, and 4, etc.. were until now!
wait so that will really work? and yes starting points. if there are two team i want them to spawn across from each other but if ther are 4 teams then i want them all to spawn in the corners. and if that is the case i just have to make them not red and blue?
