Hey forging community. I am finishing up my new and first map here on forge hub. the map is entitled "Lithium". I hope to have it released by the end of the week. so here we go... PICTURES Overview overview 2 AB structure and a view of map boundry wall corner walkway and last but not least the back wall and rocket cubby Thats it for now. you're gonna have to wait a couple days for all the pics!
Looks fine, perhaps a bit open, but I haven't had the chance to play it yet, so who am I to judge. Keep it up
Everytime I see someone comment on the pictures, I always see "Looks too open." NO, it is not open, you just haven't figured out the routes on it yet. Anyways, it looks good. Some of the merges and interlocks are noticably off, but it's asymmetric, which means they can be. They don't affect gameplay from what I've seen, so nothing doing. Are the only power weapons rockets and the sniper? I couldn't make out what that was in the middle structure. I thought it was an AR (or it's me with vision fail). And yeah, is this just for slayer or does it play objective games as well? Also, there was a really popular map named Lithium already. I would consider changing it, because I guarentee someone is going to give you flak for it.
hey thanks for commenting. It is really not to open but the pic does make it look like that. i will consider renaming it thanks for the tip off. it does support FFA king FFa odball, FFA slayer and up to a 3v3 slayer. The middle thing is an AR your vision is fine. It is also the oddball spawn. Finally, I changed the rocket cubby to be another sniper now because team stuff was unbalanced. the rockets are now on the mid bridge. Those are the only two power weapons but there are also a buble shield and regen. which can be just as pwerfull in an FFA. thanks for all the feedback and questions. map will be released tonight or tomorrow.

Ok now stop fighting. you all have your own opinions. Im releasing the map tonight but it is renamed Rustic because of the tip of that lithium is taken. check it out!
Although I do hate people who just spam with "Looks to open, 4/5" I will have to agree with spirit a little. Usually on those so called "open" maps there is many objects blocking line of sight across map. The only thing really blocking line of sight in this map is that skinny center column. The flow of this map to me is that 9/10 times people will go to the nearest structure to their spawn and fight from there, die, rinse and repeat. I believe you should add more perimeter flow around your map. Making safer but longer ways to get from one side of the map to the other whilst keeping those short dangerous routes up through the middle is usually a good formula for a good map.
