Ariel cat and mouse map NEEDS GAMETYPE BIRDS OF PREY DOWNLOAD MAP BUZZARD DOWNLOAD GAMETYPE BIRDS OF PREY Birds of Prey returns with a brand new map to play in! For those unfamiliar with BoP it's simple The Birds {zombies} start pink with only 25% damage but have full vehicle use and a choice split up fly the 2 banshees and the hornet separately with less damage or pick up the custom power up,which gives full damage but restricts the player to passenger only so the hornet can be used as a weapon platform. Humans get a choice of equipment between bubbles,power drains or flares as well as a few 7 wood to discourage splatters,but not everyone will get one depending on the amount of players A few additions have been made to Buzzard that I may retro-fit to the other maps }Zombies now get a full compliment of grenades which can be thrown from whilst riding the hornet as well as a trip mine{which will explode on impact,sometimes}or a power drain }Zombies also get both a laser and a rocket launcher each The reduced damage really takes the sting out of the hornet{sorry couldn't resist} but leaves the splash damage from the guided missiles which can be used to great effect bouncing people all over the place,including into the range of the laser towers The default setting is for 9 players,3 zombies,6 humans but works just as well with more between 5-11 is best Remember that this is a cat and mouse variant meaning that there is no real cover on the map and the zombies are overpowered its just for fun These maps are great for odd numbered parties and a lot of fun You can find the other four BoP maps here or from the link in the sig Zombie start Human start Overview Overview back ACTION PLEASE LEAVE BIRDS OF PREY IN THE TITLE
omg 1st post! anyway, to make this map a little better, you could use the "no guardians" canvas and forge out in the dunes, thats what dessert rats used and it worked out really well.
I considered a blocked canvas but didn't because 1.its just too big 2.blasting someone into laser field is great 3.The birds are vulnerable to the lasers as well 4.the constant noise is far too irritating It would be visible to do a 6v6 version using two fully loaded hornets but again iI think the laser noise would just drive me mad
