This is pretty different than most MLG maps, umm the teleporters, are kind of a big no-no. Also, the mancannons seem like they would make the game too quick. Umm i do like the placement of the Custom, and the weapon placement in the pics looks balanced, so overall, good job, but it could use some fixing up
yea. the map was just a forge warmup. the teleporters were just a test to see how people would react to them and the lift idea i got from narrows i tried making a mix of Narrows and Onslaught thanks for the advice tho, i'll fix em up tonight and repost soon
Looks confusing... i love the map geometry but as Havok said it does need some touches to it. You should fix the weapons and the man-cannons. Most MLG doesn't have because it is too easy to get to the other base and games are over to quick.
This is not an MLG map... It has a good concept but the teleporter is not found in MLG maps, it also could have railings to help prevent falling off, or you could make everything not spawn at start and add walls where all the holes are. After you do that you will be surprised and how better the map plays. Other than that you did a good job on the symettry and overall layout.
Wow clearly everyone here saying MLG don't use teleporters, is a Halo 3 kid that has never played Halo 1/2 MLG. Anyway on topic, map looks pretty good would be good with either teleporters or mancannons only though.
Did anyone of you guys saying MLG doesn't use teleporters played Halo 1 or Halo 2. Beaver Creek Wizard/Warlock Narrows has man cannons
im gonna go with uf havok, mancannons and teleporters = NO. i do like the front gate to the base. very cool. 4/5
ok ive never seen teleportors on a mlg map so as for that i think that alone with the manconnons would ruin the gameplay feel that u get playing mlg
Forging looks pretty solid. Not an MLG map by Halo 3 MLG standards; does not belong in this subforum.
I personally think it is extremely big and has WAY to much wholes in the ground..... people don't like falling to their deaths every 15 seconds before they reach they're opponent.... and if they are facing the opponent you cant strafe or you'll fall off because you are focused on your target
