What if the pics dont require effects?

I wonder why you automatically assume pics with effects are the best.

There was already a heated debate about this, tho so I wont bring it up.

first of all, "tooken" is not even close to being a word. Second, I think there is already a thread like this. Third, some screenshots dont need effects as long as you take them from the right angle. I'll try to get some up shortly

 

First of all, don't start off a thread with a line which puts a whole community down (as a whole), also the fact that you don't like most of the screenshots doesn't mean that few of us forgers are good photographers, everybody has their own style. Third, you haven't taken many good screenshots yourself, in my opinion, so does that mean, you can't take a good one to save your life? No, it depends on peoples opinions.

We aren't stuck up, it just that a lot of us (even me at times) expects more from the community.

And sure, some comments here are a little rude, but don't tale them at face value.

Also, I am all for growing the Screenshots sub forum. Idk if this would do much, but ill help. Lol still thinkin bout which pic.

Agreed, Theorem. I, personally, expect more than the community than I tend to see. It's irritating, but we should just learn to expect it, and live with it.

Anyways, I suppose I'll submit this one. It's not my favorite, but my favorite doesn't use any complex effects.

Effect Name: ... Blackened? (Metallica reference.)
The effect was made in the Ice Cave (big cave with two man-cannons.) When entering from the Spartan Laser side of the cave, go up to the man-cannon and look to your left. There's a slight ledge you're able to stand on in the wall. What I did was stand on that ledge, put on the filter Pen & Ink and threw a flare.

The Frag Effect

Blackout.
Frag Grenade. Chucked it at an angle so it bounced up on lift 2. Positioned camera on the center of the explosion on top of the moon. Raining Rocks FTW.

The meteors themselvea were from fragments of a grenade in mid-detonation.

Smithers, how'd u get that really cool bkgd for the first one?! Is it a glitch or something?

 

We are not stuck up we just don't take comments from people who put the community down, as mentioned from Dave the Rave52. You call us stuck up but maybe you should read your reply to lefty0904 it may not be stuck up but it's certainly a smart mouth comment.

I'm not here just to say that though so I will be back with one of my pictures soon....
