Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details 2-6 Players. Each side gets a tank, and sparse cover. Try to stay alive in this small arena map. Inspired by the classic Atari game: Tanks. I played with the layout for a good 4 hours with some friends, and after plenty of testing, managed to make a perfectly balanced weapon layout that allows for fun Infantry vs Tank action, as well as Tank v Tank action. This map can work with more than 6 players, but it's small and can become hectic. Rockets, Fuel Rod Cannons, Plasma Pistols and BR's and spread about the map, with a couple Snipers for the sake of team based support, to keep nasty hijackers off of your team's tank. Finally, there's a very useful cloak and Spartan Laser in the middle of the map, elevated just above a player's jump ability, it could take some creative thinking to get to it, but it's not difficult. Have fun!
If your going to tell him that he needs pics, at least tell him how. If your not going to take the time like I did to tell him how, Don't post. You have to include pictures in your post. Here's a guide how-to: 1. First go into theatre and take pictures and save them. 2. Now go onto your computer and go to Halo Screen Shots. 3. Type in your gamertag and it will take a while to search for your pics. 4. When it finally loads your pictures, click on the picture you want and copy the BB code and paste it into your post. 5. Repeat this for every picture you want in your post. Hope this helped. You have 24 hours or else a mod will lock your post. There also the photobucket method. 1. Take your pictures. 2. Go to http://www.bungie.net/ 3. Find your pictures, and save them to your computer. 4. Go to http://photobucket.com/ 5. Sign in or create an account. 6. Upload the pictures and then click on a picture and copy the image code and paste into you post. The HaloScreenshots method is much easier.
Well i've only got one pic, and it's linked to that download, i figured it'd be easy enough to view it.. But i'll take the sweet time outta my day to bother uploading it xD
It sounds like a pretty fun map for a bunch of friends to screw around with in tanks, but it's not much of a competitve map. This would be more of a mini game map with the tanks idea. Otherwise it's still a cool map. 3/5
Ah, so the competitive section is for more serious maps, stuff like you'd expect to find in matchmaking, and mini-game maps would be more themed?
yeah competetive is for serious stuff like excavation and stuff like that, i dk if you were trying to make this a competetive map but the comp thread is for maps with capture the flag, slayer etc.. in mind this should probably go in mini maps. but i gotta agree with the one guy this looks like a map more to mess around on than to actually play on sorry but i gotta give ya a 2/5.
Well i take my maps seriously, i don't like maps that don't have a fun and competitive atmosphere. Sure this looks simple and is power weapon based, but at the same time it's very balanced and makes for great slayer.
