Spell Fail OT: The picture isn't very good at all. It's a very bad angle and the effects (or lack thereof) are very boring. I would suggest checking out some of the screenshot guides to find out how to get some cool effects and help you become a better screenshot taker. Also, just experiment with different things. Equipment, FX, killballs, lights; those and more can all give you some good pictures when used together in the right way.
Yeah. what he said. It looks like this was just taken because it looked cool and there was some meaning behind it. Just remember, all we see is the picture. So, either give a description or make a better screenshot. EDIT: Plus, it's just not appealing to get a close-up on Master Chief's nuts. Any closer and he'd be t-bagging the camera.
Ummm...Lame picture. It is even worse then those Hi screenshots. PLEASE take better screenshots in the future!!
it's his first post, and it seemed to me like he wanted to see if his embed pics would work, I say we give him some credit for posting it correctly.
Not to be blunt, but **** off! Do you guys really have to have your damned little standards for every ****ing photo? You don't need an effect for every screen shot you take. You guys need to use effects sparingly just as much as I need to stop caring...
Umm...you post pictures so people can tell you what they think about it (THERE OPINION.) Its just our opinion, take it or leave it. About standards i believe there should be something thats clever, funny, cool, effectual about the picture. If not then it is...boring. I see no effects or something clever. Not to be blunt: Do you really have to come to us and give your damn little standards for every ****ing comment? You don't need to come onto a website that rates people's thing and get mad about what we rate it. You need to learn you **** before you come and try to **** around with people who are here doing what they are supposed to do.
I rarely tell people off about how they comment, and when I do I've got a pretty good reason. Only one guy really posted anything that was in the category of constructive criticism, excuse me, two guys, Ace and Shmag. All you did was come in and say effects suck. You didn't say anything about cleverness, angle, quality of the picture itself, or orginality. How is the guy supposed to learn anything from you or people who post like you? "Man that screenie sucks, you didn't use any effects" "Umm, well its my first screen shot. do you guys have any suggestions/thoughts?" "crickets chirping in the background because no one wants to help" I understand having standards to a point: a picture or map should be up to certain standards to a point. But when those standards start to include an effect in almost every map or screenshot or else a spamwall of "needs more interlocking" or "needs more effects", you've gotten too far off the path. I do apologize for getting pissed off. People need to be more thoughtfull with their responses though, or else new people will just get lost in the cracks and think you all are stuck up standard-whores. I know I did for a while, and with some people I still do. I really do apologize, but be more considerate even if you're seeing yet another forum n00b make the same n00b mistake for the umpteenmillionth time....
