1. When in Forge looking at the gametype "Slayer" on default Sandbox, I found that there is only one "Attacker" and one "Defender" starting point, and the other teammates spawn around them on normal spawn points. However some sources say that 4 starting points are needed for each team for every gametype. Which is the correct method? 2. It seems that when I start a game of Forge with the gametype on the default "All Gametypes", I spawn on the one Defender (when on red team) or Attacker (when on blue team) starting points that is placed on default Sandbox in Team Slayer or other gametypes. Does one starting point placed in any gametype cross over to all the other gametypes? 3. I currently have 4 "Attacker" and 4 "Defender" starting points placed on a map for the "Slayer" gametype, and no neutral starting points. However, when I play Free For All Slayer, everyone spawns next to eachother on those starting points. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?
Thanks. Will deleting the unnecessary 6 starting points also fix my problem with free for all spawns?
1. one starting point will do, but you need a bunch of respawn points(neutral works) around it for the players to spawn. 2. no, its just forge. you will randomly spawn on a starting point for any gametype if you are in all gametypes. for custom games, you need starting points for each specific gametype. 3. you need starting points for 3rd team, 4th team, ect. for however many are in the game spread throughout the map. if you dont have these, everyone will spawn at the starting points you do have, no matter what team it is. hope i helped.
1. You need one starting point for every team. The players will spawn near that player. 2. A starting point only works for one gametype, but in forge you may start there. 3. Refer to 1. Place other starting spawn to team 3,4,5 etc. accordingly.
