Hey all, after a few days of work, I bring you my latest map, Infested! Story: After years of working in a manufacturing factory, you and your partners are presented with a problem, a zombie infestation! It's up to you to lead your friends safely out of the decrepit, crumbling factory while taking out any zombies you encounter. Map= Time: After 2 minutes, a grav lift will spawn inside the open single box you see in the pickup room, enabling you to lift the crate to exit the factory through the drop-off door Every 20 sec, there is an explosion in the supply room walls(sparks will go flying but wont hurt you(just for effect of a factory falling apart)) Recommended players of 4-12 Gametype= Get out: -humans spawn with only magnum -zombies are no shields -no radar for anyone Weapons: -magnum x1 -ar x1 -shotgun x1 -smg x1 PICS!: Zombie spawn Automatic explosion at beginning of round Human spawn Supply room after going through door Conveyor belt room1 Conveyor belt room2 Conveyor belt 1 Conveyor belt 2 Pickup room overview 1 Pickup room overview 2 ACTION PICS: In danger Owned Easy pickings After using grav lift on crate to go through the drop-off door Making an escape Nearly survived DOWNLOAD: Get out on Time
This map could and will be a blast to play with a bunch of people. My favorite part of this map is the conveyer belt (spelled wrong) just because I haven't seen it in any other map and because it adds a cool feel to the map. Is there like a last stand room or not? If there isn't any it doesn't make the map bad. Good job 8/10 and a thumbs up. P.S.- I also like the drop off door.
Do the conveyor belts push you or not. Also the airport theme is kinda cool. Next time remmeber to make the map name the title (doesn't matter) It is nicely interlocked as I can see and not much you could have worked on. Might give it a try.
Well the last stand area is basically outside in that alley. whatever time is left you spend there fighting off zombies. It's a blast with enough people. And once you go through doors, there's no returning as they are one way. to Pwnography: No the conveyor belts do not push, I was going to make it that way, but I thought it would interrupt the gameplay, as they are the majority of that room.
Looks okay. But I don't think I understand what ur supposed fto be doing in this map. What are u supposed to do? Also nice merging but it is a little unnatural.
Premise is to run away from zombies and survive for the given 4 minutes. And can you be more specific in what you mean by "unnatural" merging?
This looks really cool and creative. I like the convayer belt type things..the barrels make it look like they are moving hah. This could probly get pretty intense with 10-16 people.
