wow this is the first spaceship ive seen on sandbox, i only have one thing to complain about ; the center part from the pic looks a bit wonky but this is still a great map
Yeah, just like Pel said, it is very big in size (that's what she said) lol! But seriously, looks pretty good for a beginner. Have fun forging around here, there are some really great people to meet!
I think that the fact that this is too big to interlock in nonsense i believe that, if you truely think that it is to big to interlock, you should have made it small and neater, I think the idea behind this map is an over used one but none-the-less can still produce amazing maps, this map has the ability to be amazing if you make it smaller and neater, So if you do make a version 2 i think you should think about creating a smaller neater version of this, after all this is an aestheticmap so you need to focus more on looks than the actual size and gameplay side of things. I give this map 3/5 stars maily because although the idea is over used this is an enspiring map that has the ability to be much better if you focus more on the looks of the ship.
Thanks for the comments and critics, I'll express my own opinions on this map. 1- The bridge is the most !@#$ed up part of the ship. 2- The hangar is the best part, except the ceiling is missing... 3- Satellite is made up of random remnant pieces 4- Looks great from afar, and is majestic in size. 5- The ship got stretched to the maximum amount of pieces which ruined the completion... 6- Not interlocked, leaving cracks in the structure.
So I downloaded, and I was walking around, I said to myself, "this is cool!" My main thoughts were: no points to a mongoose in a sky hangar sky hangar couldve used a roof, though the max was reached the floors could be alot straighter the covenant base is easy to fall off of other than that, pretty pleasing, and fun to look at . 4.5/5
I like the look of the map from afar. I too made a ship it's called unto dawn and I believe the post is just a few below yours check it out some time. These maps are fun to make. Try to interlock to get a cleaner feel to it. It took me a while but was worth it. I'll download and check it out in a bit. -the blue shoe
I downloaded it and its actually really garbagy. this gets a 1/5. in the pictures you cant tell but there is 0 interlocking and no room on the inside. everyone else who rated, download before rating because this really is a terrible map. its the outside that looks good but it only looks good from far away, so the cracks and stuff doesnt show as easily. this gets 1/5 from me, go to forging 101 and read how to interlock before making something like this.
The size is great, especially love the laser pic, it looks a little jumbled together in some spots but I'm still definitely gonna download it
Awwwww...revolting...thats not very nice....The map looks pretty nice for a first try at making the ship but a V2 would definately be advised...it does look like the Aegis Fate or the Forward Unto Dawn so it looks pretty good but just make it neater for the V2
I tested it out and must say. Dont judge a book by its cover. THIS MAP IS HORRIBLY BAD in terms of interlocking. None of it. Nothing is even. It is nice in the pics but in gameplay it is sorry to say....bad. I would advise interlocking to save items and make it look nicer 3/5 5/5 if you interlock in V2
