I don't oftenly see much interlocking on sandbox. I feel disappointed, because after seeing how neat some people are in foundry, I would assume they would make it even neater on sandbox, but nooo, its already smooth? It is hard to interlock on sandbox? Seriously?
Some of the items in sandbox aren't very even. I actually think that most of the maps you see on sandbox are interlocked, its just nowhere close to being as obvious on sandbox as it is on foundry. That's the big thing. You can't always even tell that items are interlocked on sandbox, just because of the way the items are designed. And plus I guess some of the objects fit together more neatly on sandbox than on foundry so sometimes you don't have to interlock anyway.
Yeah, this is very true. In one of my maps I interlocked 8 blocks together into an octagon, and it looks like 1 giant octagonal block with no seems at all.
Its just not needed as much. We have blocks of so many shapes and sizes that somethings which would require interlocking on Foundry can be made with the shapes available on Sandbox. Then there's the texture problem, if not done right the textures start to fight over which is on top more often than on Foundry.
Nope Interlock is Needed alot in Foundry cause of Space most of the time Sandbox has even more items so you do have to interlock to make them since they already have items that you need. and yes the bungie make the texture nice and awesome sauce so when interlocking it doesn't look bad at all
