Hey everyone. I haven't seen really any maps on ghost town (save a few), so I decided I'd break the mold and do something different. This map Is a close quarters training facility utilizing the back garage area of ghost town. It took me about one days worth of work. Though it is simple, I think i executed the look and feel of a cqb training area and got good gameplay. NOTE: In some pics you may be thinking it looks easy to get out of map, but the gametype makes gravity 200% so its pretty hard, and besides, it's a competitive map, don't be **** and get out of the map Recommended teams and game: -2-4 -Gametype= Keep your fingr -Map= the trigger Weapons list: -Br x4 -Ar x 4 -Smg x4 -mauler x 1 -frag x6 (?) PICS!: Blue spawn (upstairs) Blue base Blue catwalk Catwalk again ( i was too lazy to delete the maps normal weapons (needler)) Red spawn Red base (downstairs) Stairs leading up to blue catwalk Close encounter Stairs leading down to Smg Smg More stairs Ramp down from Blue base (upstairs) mauler underneath)) Downstairs action I seee you Keep your finger on the trigger
it looks like a lot of jump fighting in between cover, which is fun, but gets old very fast. i'll think about the DL. right now i'll give a 3/5
This is why you can't rate a map until after you play it. This is a unique map, and indeed the most close quarters map I've seen on Ghost Town so far. I love the blue base. It's one of the best uses of Ghost Town's forge pallet I've seen so far. I like the red base, but it reminds me too much of a mini complex and seems like it would annoy in a 1 vs 1 fight down there. Still, I'll play and try to come back with my full review when I can.
It looks like a COD map. The aesthetics of it look like a ware house level or a Halo 2 Campaign level. It looks pretty nice... I was just wondering if you can get out. I havent seen the barriers yet so idk. I like how you put weapons that flow with your theme that you obviously accomplished and displayed. Great job on this map, and I love it because its one of the best competitive maps on GT... Im tired of the sun setting Zombie games already. 4/5
Looks like a pretty cool map. I like how you made an enclosed map on Ghost Town. Anyway I'm gonna download and get back to you. Oh and by the way the whole "Keep Your Finger on Your Trigger" thing. Anyway keep up the great forging!
I love how you took the garage amd split it into to levels. I myself love CQB games so this looks like a pretty cool map. My only problem is that I know you have one mauler, but a shotgun just has CQB written on it everywhere. I would suggest adding a shotgun. 4/5
This looks like a very unique map. Although I'm wondering if the gametype is kinda like SWAT or did you just make a gametype for the 200% gravity? anyways ill think about downloading it, it looks like it would give the feel of a call of duty game, which is a nice change from the usually science fiction.
The gametype is slightly changed from the base. -gravity is 200% -no radar -no team killing pretty basic, but it works well with this map
This is pretty good but don't add a shotgun cause it doesn't take much skill but it's not my map, so do whatever you want and another thing about the shotgun if you do add one make it so it doesn't have any extra clips, also because that could get some people mad, and make them shout shotty *****! So that is why the NO extra clips for the shotgun.
