    The theme for map an ancient tribunal court. The 2 royal structures look down on the altar of the damned.The heirachy decides the fate of the shamed that stand before them.

    This is an objective based map.Atonement was designed primarily for CTF,however it also
    supports slayer,assault,territories,king of the hill and vip game types.


    The flag spawns are at the top of each base.There are primarily 3 ways to the top of the
    base. There are ramps on each side of the base and the boost ramp is to the rear.

    Nice base designs but I think the warthogs might have a hard time moving through the map correct me if i'm wrong.

    They will primarily be used on the outskirts of the map to get to the rear of the bases quickly.

    Nice looking map look very well done for the little merging done from the picture i see but looks like it would not need it anyways

    Not bad, aesthetics are pleasent, and it definetly looks like you used the most sandbox could offer. The only little bit of advice I could offer is toning down on the power weapons.

    4/5 and a dl =), I'll be sure to test this out when I find the time.

    Question- Can you get on top of the tall structure in the middle of the map?

    Thanks. Yeah the power weapons may be a tad much but i felt that you needed a way to kill the warthogs at a distance.

    And yes you can get on the top of the middle part.

    Wow! This map looks amazing. I really like the look of the ancient arch things. 4.5/5, it looks like the vehicles would have a hard time getting around. maybe swaping the grav ham for a laser and giving each side a hornet would be cool.

    It looks great for man2man fights, but as ghost717 said, even on the outskirts wouldn't it be a little crowded. you should use choppers, they can charge at each other easily, and seem a lot smaller. but it looks great for the whole man2man thing, you could hide behind a ramp or tunnel and wait for a victim to come and you assassinate him. though that might be a problem if everyone's doing that, then nobody's attacking nobody, and the defence is useless since there's nothing to defend, and if you try to attack the other base you die, so i guess there should be no camping. 9.5/10 :cool:

    The two base structures remind me of that thing from valhalla on the right nbehing the big dam thing. The map itself look very nice asthetically and it looks like a slayer game of maybe 6v6 would work well. 5/5

    Crazy building designs.
    It reminds me of "Containment" from Halo 2 for some reason.
    Not in map layout but there is something about how ominous the Bases are.
    Great work.

    Yeah the design for these structure came from studying some The Art of Halo 3.I sketched a design and it just went from there. Yeah I thought about adding a laser but maybe as a substitute for the missle pods.And the hornets seem like a cool way to change it up.

    The primary gametype for this map is capture the flag.The mongooses can travel through the map but the warthogs would have to come around the sides.But remember there are missle pods and rockets around the base.

    Slayer and team slayer are supported.Infact all gametypes are supported.

    I'm really proud of them.I wanted something that could look like it was made by Bungie...hey I can dream right :)

    Very nice. The aesthetics look like something that would come out of the Halo 3 campaign. The design of the map is also great.

    One thing that I feel a lot of people do is overload the map with weapons and equipment, and I think you did this as well.

    8 equipment and 7 power weapons is a bit overkill. The warthogs currently have to worry about six weapons which makes them kind of useless. I suggest removing the two missile pods and along with that, replace the radar jammers with grav lifts, remove overshield or camo (keep which ever you feel would impact gameplay the most), and narrow it down to one power drain and one bubble shield.

    The layout I was think of is: Overshield or Camo in bottom center, Bubble shield and power drain at current overshield/camo locations, and grav lifts at current power drain locations. There probably is a more ideal layout though.

    These are just a few suggestions that I feel would make the map more competitive, so if that isn't what you were going for, don't worry about it. :)

    I need to get in the habit of including huge epic structures in my maps. Seems Containment-esque. Is this made with larger groups of players in mind?

    Thanks, I really liked some of your ideas.I have removed the missle pods from each base and removed the brute hammer and replaced them with a spartan laser in the center of the map. I have also added an additional grav lift and move them to each base. I have also removed 2 mongooses and the warthogs from the map and replaced them with transport hornets. I will upload to my file share in the days to come.

    It's primarily designed for 4v4 CTF games, but it could support 6v6 too.
