ive seen maps like utah mambo were items are geomerged into the sand dunes. But how do you do it? theres no item that sinks in when you placing it like the door in foundry.
Apparently you have to do it the old school way (before people found out about the doors in foundry). I'm pretty sure there's a tutorial in Forging 101 that has this method.
