I understand that it may be a week or so before I here back on anything official but, I applied about 3 days ago and I was wondering what's the average response time dealing with jobs is. I just need a rough estimate, no certain dates(unless there is one). Thank you. -Funk
Well I think that he assumes that some people from bungie have accounts here that they are very active. But ya I dont think you will get a good response. Try bungie's forums
http://www.forgehub.com/forum/blogs/projectt2501/113-my-bungie-net-job-application.html they might not reply at all... But take initiative if they don't reply within 10 days, ask them why, and give your name and everything
Looking at your sketchup drawings, I think you have underestimated the talent needed to work at Bungie. Don't be surprised if you aren't given a response. What you have is good so far, but you really need to be overqualified for a gaming job to even be considered. Your work looks novice at best. I don't want to come off as too harsh, your sketchup drawings do look good. If you're looking at getting into the industry, I'd begin by modding games like Half Life 2 or Quake. That'll give you good idea of what to expect. *facepalm* good luck with your application.....
I agree. See, that probaly will make them not reply at all. Getting banned from your future employer's website is not very good. Good luck, because you will need it.
Lol. I know I need to work on my modeling and such. If anything I'd like to maybe have an internship there, but idk. I just hope I hear from someone in the next week or so. An I didn't just send them my models I sent story lines. Thanks again.
Story lines...hmm...did you ask anybody how they were? What did they think of them? I mean, you have to ask other people's opinions on your work before you send it in to Bungie.
After reviewing this:http://www.forgehub.com/forum/blogs/projectt2501/113-my-bungie-net-job-application.html It makes my application look like a total joke(modeling wise), but at least I have my storyline to fall back on.
Age can also be a factor. I think Bungie would want someone aged +20 and have attended a university or college.
You got a 7-day ban. I do not think you have a chance of getting a job there...That goes with any job.
What kind of qualifications do you need to work at b.net? I don't know, and I'm asking you because really you should know. I don't think knowing how to use Google Sketchup will get you a great deal further with this TBH, but your creativity will help.
Bungie.net IS Bungie Studios LTD. It is the website for the company, and if you're banned from the company's website, I doubt you will get a job.
