Battle of Base Tucker6O,D Dinger,(also used Predicades Boulder Creek for a canvas after deleting everything) [br] Supported Gametypes: Mini-Map(KOTH) [br] Map Description This is a map taking place on the base on Valhalla.I used KOTH method of forcing players to stay in the hill.You get 1 point for killing and lose 2 points per second off the hill.Very balanced because of stronger weopons don't spawn that often.You can't really camp well(as far as I know).At the back of the base is a radio antenna(on 10 second spawn) alowing you to climb up the base.Up there is a deployable cover you can use to knock people down that are climbing up.Jump to the other side and go through a teleporter to a brute shot and some nades.In the bottom of the base are brs and 2 snipers that are on over 1 min. spawn times.Near the man cannon is some equipment and power ups.Overshield is on fastest spawn, then camo, then power up.Power increases damage resistence for 15 seconds.Made for FFA.2-6 players recommended. You wanted feedback so here it is...dont take it the wrong way this looks like you threw it together in about 10 minutes...max. things to work on: this is waaay too small, and with only 1 way up top, camping IS inevitable, especially with the brute shot and fire bombs up there. one minute spawns for power weapons is VERY fast. put more effort into your maps...plan them out, be original. this has been done before. and most of all make them bigger. this just doesnt look too fun
You cant camp up there because of sniper rifles down below.You can shoot people from both sides.If they go in the middle grab a grav hammer and head through the teleporter after them.Also it's small because your supposed to play it with small parties.=)
ok. well if you are looking for downloads like you said... start with putting more time into your maps, and thinking critically about where and how you place weapons/equipment. Also, like i said, i can't see this taking me more than 10 minutes to duplicate myself in Forge, which is why people dont really feel the need to DL it. Its just not too original. Start checking out the more popular maps around to get some better influences and ideas to help you create more intricate, creative maps in the future.
