Ok, this is literally a new map idea, not a Forge Map, one you buy of the marketplace. Yah I made it with paint in about 10 minutes, but it would actually be cool, so here is my vision: This map would be snowing, so that your vision is some what impaired, and the buildings would be Forerunner (which actually are the ancestors to humans in the Halo storyline. Not in real life, but it would be cool.) The red team starts with a beaten up tank, 2 warthogs and 2 mongooses and a brute chopper, and a hornet. And a lot of semi-long range weapons, like BRs and Carbines, maybe a rocket launcher with 2 shots...{At the place where it says red team] There is this big gate (grayish box) that is like 3 stories tall with a turret side closer to red team. You can not see read team's base from the gate. There is a button that you can hit to open this gate in a multi level bunker (probably the bottom level) the gate button is yellow. I was thinking that you could close the gate after 3 minutes by pushing the button again or something. The weird blue color represents a building. The orange thing is a tunnel, and the black lines are the boundaries. Except for the one with the tunnel and the other piece sticking out, which I think a Hornet or Banshee should be able to clear. The tunnel would be about half way up in the mountain, with a latter that is protected by a tube around it, but the tube would have some large holes in it. The big blue team base would have a hog, some mongooses, and a ghost. At the start they would spawn in that building next to the giant gate. The ramp to get up over the left side of the gate where the top level of the bunker is big enough to support a Warthog, but maybe at the top of the ramp it would have some polls that only let mongooses and people through. The gate would have a walk way above it that you can walk on, and maybe that turret would have a sniper room beneath it. The blue base would have a hole in it that Hornets could get through, but with very little room to maneuver, rockets and spartan lasers could pwn it. It would be relatively empty other than the vehicles and maybe a spartan laser or rocket launcher, some shotguns. Those little white dots on the rim are openings, the one at the bottom of the picture would be big enough for a brute not chopper, the bigger one that can hold 4 people. Just through in your own ideas to fill any holes I may have left. You have to admit, this would be a pretty fun map. Oh and I haven't really decided on a name, but right now I'm thinking maybe: Plan B.... if you have any ideas just through them in. Please post ideas to add on to my idea of a map, and help me make a name. Then a tricky little hacker might add this to Halo 3 as a free download on marketplace. (JK: I can't hack, hell I hardly know any HTML)
Look I'm lasy sometimes, plus I was (and am right now) on a 15 minute study break. I you want me to go into 3ds max and make this map so you can play it on Halo 2 Vista (sadly I probably am the only one with H2V) than 2 bad 4 u! Just use your imagination....
Well I'm sorry that I am not an art major. You know I just wanted to get the basic idea of what it would look like, not the finished version. I am running on Dr. Pepper and 4 hours of sleep. Back to studying, my break is up officially.
