Remember the good old Halo 2 Neutral flag games? Where both teams try to get the flag in the middle and bring it back to their base? Well I do. Did you know it's still possible in Halo 3? Just because there is no Neutral flag setting doesn't mean you can't play it. Wanna know how? Well here's how... -First, in the custom game lobby, select Neutral bomb in the Assault category. -Then edit the Assault settings like so: --Reset on Disarm= Enabled --Bomb arming time= Instant --Bomb disarming time= (doesn't matter) --Bomb fuse time=Instant --Bomb reset time=30 seconds ---Bomb carrier traits ---Player speed 90% ---No waypoint -General Settings --Number of rounds= 2-4 --Time limit= 10-20 minutes --Friendly fire=Disabled Now that you have the gametype, you need to make your map. To make a Neutral Flag map, you need to have your enemy's bomb plant in your base. This is how the game mode works: your teammates get the bomb from the middle of the map and try to bring it to your base. Basically, the bomb is a flag. Enjoy your new Neutral Flag games.
there's still the issue of the bomb being a bomb and that it explodes and kills all the people around it
I already looked into this gametype, the effective way to play a fun neutral CTF is to have a varient of that map where both flags spawn at mid. Or of course you could set an extra flag points in the middle, for two flag but have another at each base, this way 1 flag is normal, and you can play nuetral CTF
