[Note: I didn't know where to post this, so I put it here.] [party]http://users.d2k5.com/Whisper/files/beat1.mp3[/party] Download: Code: http://users.d2k5.com/Whisper/files/beat1.mp3 I recently (i.e. this morning) got FL Studio 8 (by the way I usually get programs) and have been messing around with it. This beat I made is a pretty simple thing and is only 0:42 long, but I think it sounds pretty cool. I'm still trying to figure out how to make stuff that is longer, which you think would be simple. Strangely, it's not But, yeah, check it out and tell me what you guys think. And for people who think it may be repetitive after the halfway mark, listen for the lower sub-beat which adds some flavor. I've been trying to figure out what part exactly that's coming from, so that I can make it louder. However, I haven't found it yet.
It builds up to nothing >.> Yeah that soft sound needs to be upped if you want it to be the main changing sound.
I know As I said, I'm trying to figure out how to make it into an actual song instead of just a loop.
You have to piece together the sections of loops in that one section I don't know what all the things are called because I just mess around with my synth lol
I had the same problem trying to make it longer. Just right click on the sound you want to play around with and then select "Piano Roll". Then you can extend it to however long you want by keep going right. (you can also adjust the tone and pitch from here to.) You can go through your sound on the top of the window to, it makes things a lot quicker.
No, I use the KORG DS 10 thing then use an aux cable to record. Here's some stuff you can do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EV2wcKcUhGk&feature=PlayList&p=BA71F98F9304EFC3&index=3
Hm. I like fruity loops. A nice buildup normally has: Sound 1 playing - Sound 2 playing in the background, quietly. Then, at the end of sound 1, sound 3 comes in, sound 1 executed, introduces sound 2 at normal loudness, then sound 4 is in the background of sound 3. Hope it helps at least a little.
It sounds alright, but soften the high pitch noise and the ticking a little bit. But I like the ending, just give it more of an echo, that will sound pretty cool. You can givez meh the program? ;D
