It has taken me around a total of 10 hours to complete and i am happy with what i have created. It is balanced and promotes the use of vehicles and the different allitudes. I have hit the OLN limit but not the budget limit, i should have used the canvas with the spawn points but its to late now Don't worry, the vehicles arent over powering at all, just work together and you'll take them down easily. Ok, with the description out of the way here is the screenshots of Contribution, please note that in some of the pictures you will see a laser, but that has been removed after several testing sessions because i felt that vehicles didnt stand a chance on such a small level. looks good and i like how you actually put game play pictures into your presented pictures, makes me get a better feel of the map and lets me see the actual battle going on
wow great map it looks like u spent a lot of time on this 1 it looks very asthetically pleasing and that lava effect in the shotgun spawn is very cool. Nice mergin and stuff. 9/10 keep forgin! -Dylan
I am curious how you did the shotgun spawn. Did you just geomerge a killball? Also, does it kill you if you dont jump over the crack? Please send me a personal message about this.
Thanks everyone for the possitive feedback, its really appreciated, I never realised people would even take notice of the shotgun, but you guys obviously think it looks good, thanks Thanks, i worked hard to get all those testers, i had to go through about 5 Mytic games, which i dont like and then send a message to everyone telling them that i wanted testers for a new map, but it paid off. Ok, i have now sent you the message, i wouldnt even know how to geo-merge a killball, i dont think its even possible
This map looks and plays really well. My only suggestion would be to reconsider haveing both plasma and spike grenades. Good job.
Why did you use the blocked off canvas of Sandbox for forging in the crypt. I don't get it. Anyways, it looks like a very well made map. Great job Destroyer! I'm seeing more and more come from you every day! This map reminds me a lot of all the Foundry maps out there. Just with different scenery.. I'm actually going to download this now, so I can forge around on it. Maybe I'll come up with some ideas for my next map, who knows!? I love your ussage of the Half Walls, and the Quarter Walls. Edit: So I played it, and am amazed by how simple the map is, but how complex the layout is! Did you come up with the idea of the map before you made it? Or did you just make it from scratch? Either way, it is the most amazing crypt map I have seen. Great for objective and slayer games. I had a fun time forging around on it, looking at all the neat structures. You have inspired me to attempt a crypt map.. I don't know how it will go. But how do you come up with the ideas for your maps? I have been in a complete forge block ever since releasing Castle Crashers...
Its because i recently got a new xbox and lost all my old canvas maps, Unlimited was the only canvas i had when i started Contribution Thanks, i wanted my map to look different and make the most of new items on Sandbox, i think half walls and quarter walls look nice and so i used them as much as i could. I sent him a message about it, in fact you are right, just interlocked a red light under a block flat surrounded by 4 corner smalls Thanks, When ever i make a map i think of structures that i want to include and then just work from there, for this map i wanted to create lots of walkways like on foundry because i havent seen any maps that use walkways very much. I built it in the crypt because i didnt want to use up all my objects on making a floor in the skybubble, and i dont think the default layer would have worked well. PLus the crypt is a perfect place for walkways and because its abit bigger than foundry's main area, its suitable for vehicles too. Great, i love it when people are inspired to forge after playing my maps, makes me feel that i have made a good map that people look upto. Well, the way i come up with ideas is to either just mess around in forge trying to make super awesome structures, but most of the time, when im trying to get to sleep at night i think, think of cool new ideas that have never been done before.
This is the first crypt map that I'm actually going to download. All the other maps in the crypt are exactly like something you could make on Foundry. You wouldn't be able to make this map on Foundry. I really like how you utilized your half and quarter walls. They make the map look very good in the terms of aesthetics and they probably contribute to gameplay. You also have some very original structures. Very nice map. I'll see if I can get a couple games on this. I might not be able to so I may or may not be back. Oh and I'm glad you use my canvas!
This map looks really amazing, I just DLd and can't wait to play! I just hope the vehicles work well..
Yeh, I've used your canvas for two of my maps now, its my favourite canvas, thanks for making it, helps me alot! Don't worry, the vehicles aren't overpowering at all, due to the walkways everywhere, the hog is only good for splattering unless people are on the ground floor
Spam to the maxxx. kkk you cant do this, its against the law. now on to the map.... Its a very nice Piece of Art you made here. Just by the pictures, it looks like it flows great. I still think the wart hog doesn't belong there, its a little overwhelming and hard to maneuver. The Aesthetics are sound, and i like that you put supports under the main bridge (bonus points).The structures are really neat and sort of town-ish based. 5/5
Okay, I checked this out and the layout is pretty cool but I think that its a little open but not too bad. Mainly under the Rocket spawn, where the camo is. That whole ground level there is pretty open. One thing I have a problem with is your weapon set up. In my opinion, you shouldnt have a Shotgun, Sword, and a Mauler on the same map. Maybe just 2 but thats still stretching it. Also, you didnt even change the respawn times of the Needlers, Brute shots or the Mauler. 30 seconds is a very short respawn rate for all of those weapons, especially the Mauler. Other than that, it seems pretty good, I didnt play a game on it, just a Forge through, but that was good enough to see the problems with the weapons. Edit: I also think that the Ghost and Warthog spawn too fast also, 90 sec. is short for such a powerful vehicle.
im lovin the shotgun spawn howd you do it? thats what id like to no. im usually not a fan of these kind of maps but you've gotten me interested. i love the aesthenics (no idea how to spell it) everything looks fantastic.
