Yeah, that tilted tunnel is pretty disorienting when I was first running through it. It's a great part, though. This map and your last really speak to how crazy your imagination is. There's some really unique ideas and geometry here (expect to be copied on the jail bars) and I'm looking forward to getting some actual games on it. Hit me up whenever if you want.
I loved the look and all the details of this map, however the gameplay felt a little off. Way above my league as far as forge capabilities so I give you props for that.
Wow, this map is awesome. Aesthetics are fine and I can guess the gameplay will be even better. The jail cell thingies made me really want to DL this map. Tho I nearly never DL maps this map is one I definitely will. So, 9.5 out of 10 from me.
Ahhh Titmar, you never seek to impress us! This map looks awesome! From what the screenshots look like, the map looks outstanding! But I don't wanna judge too quickly, I'm still gonna download it; play a few games on it, make sure it's playable -- but I'm sure that won't be a problem
The jail bars are made of 5 scaffoldings, spaced out by stone bridges. and to those who keep asking about gameplay, it plays best on 2v2 games like i said in the post.
I dont know if someone has said this already but i really enjoyed how you used the walls with the openings as ceiling panels. It was a lot of fun to take pot shots at people as they ran under me. Also the man cannon that spits you up and out to the middle was a pleasant surprise. It has a very unique look as well and that is hard to do on sand box since everything is the same color and that can make things kind of bland =). Well done.
Thanks for the good feedback. I am considering providing an updated version to get neutral bomb and multi-flag working a bit better, since i got mixed feedback for those gametypes. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
one word: beautiful This map looks so amazing, I've never seen a map like it. the map looks quite cluttered though but I'll have to post about that later as I haven't actually been on it yet. But well done.
Played this last night. Impressive display of Forge technique and ingenuity. The map is relatively small, but it feels huge with all the navigable surface area. Spawns seemed to work very well, and they seemed varied, as I didn't spawn at the same location frequently. My only concern is there's too much in the map, and it may be hard to "get your bearings." Other than that, you'll want to check this out for sure.
5 stars I've probably downloaded and played somewhere around 200 forged maps, but this is definitely one of my all time favorites. It's awesome for small party slayer games, which is hard to find.
great map, man. The game we played last night was really enjoyable, really smooth. all this time, I thought you had no interest in forge, lol. I guess it was just the horrible-ass Foundry era, eh? but I did like this one a bit more than the other one of yours we played. The high ground in the other one frustrated me a bit.
Yea, I'm trying to figure out a way to engineer that one so the high ground isnt so dominating in it. Thanks for the good feedback on this one though, and yeah i guess it was just Foundry but it was also some other things.
