Contemplate V2 Description: My first map that I really worked hard on. The goal was to try to reflect an old map I mad {the only one before this one that didn't suck}. I failed there but I think this one is good in its own right. FIXED Map changes- Camo Moved Plasma Pistol Moved Brute Shot Added Sniper Moved Shield door removed from hall to Purple base - The one above the dumpster Shield door from Yellow Bridge moved Power Drain moved - I think All single box closed's {Exept for the one on Red base} were flipped over to make the map smoother. Door in hall from Red to Yellow Deleted to make multiple ways out. Assault Bomb for Attackers fixed THE ABOVE WERE FIXED IN V2 DOWNLOAD VERSION 2 AT B.NET The bases are opposite diagonally RED BASE BLUE BASE There are also Purple and Yellow Bases but they are useless unless your in a 4-way team game or using them for call-outs. PURPLE BASE YELLOW BASE PICTURE MISSING _______________________ Weapon List Active Camo x1 - 180 Second Spawn Rate Power Drain x1 - Regenarator x1 - Rocket Launcher x1 - 0 Bonus Clips Sniper Rifle x1 - 90 Second Spawn Rate Mauler x1 - Plasma Pistol x1 - 90 Second Spawn Rate Brute Shot x1 - BRs x? - 1 Bonus Clip - 45 Second Spawn Rate Covie Carbine x? - 1 Bonus Clip - 60 Second Spawn Rate Plasma Grenades x? - 30 Second Spawn Rate Fragmentation Grenades x? - 30 Second Spawn Rate Some above ammo and spawn rates have been left blank because I don't remember them of the top of my head also some of the BRs and Carbines have more ammo and less of a spawn rate. _______________________ ACTION PICTURES SOON While there is very little interlocking, merging and meshing the time spent on and time testing this map were exponential. Every person that has played this map has been like "put that on your fileshare". Well I wasn't done. Now I am done and ready for the big forgers to criticize me. It is usable with all gametypes, scratch Infection and probably Juggernaut. CTF and Neutral Assault are really fun here. Also the Attackers spawn at Yellow Base in V.I.P games. This map has an interesting layout. From the 3 pics that I can see it is quite unique. Although I didn't see any interlocking or geomerging it still looks pretty good. I would learn how to do that stuff as you will not get many DL's without interlocking or geomerging becuase it has basically become an expectation. Good none the less =)
My next map, Grip is on Avalanche and has alot of Interlocking because I know how to do it, I just made this one to see my potential. Also the pics stopped working. :U

yeah thats true, you do need to get started on geomgering and interlocking.However the map did look very sloppy. More pictures would be nice but from what I can tell, I don't think I will be downloading. Not that its a bad map,the layout is interesting, but you do happen to reach a few feet short of my expectations. Just a tip for the future, work on where you place shild doors if your going to use any at all. They don't work well with slayer maps in most cases.
I think it looks good without geomerging or interlocking. It's kind of old school, and a map like this doesn't really need interlocking. It's basically like remaking foundry. I saw a couple areas that could be cleaned up (just straighten up the walls and things like that) but other than that, I like it.

Admittedly all the shield doors are very useful cover that you can walk through, but I did move some in V2 here is what I fixed and the links. It looks really good even though there was no merging or geomerging, I hope you know how to do that because it can improve maps greatly
