Maybe we can possibly wipe out all items without decreasing our item limit. I overloaded the map with trip mines today and whole maps reset and all items disappeared this could possibly lead to complete canvas. any one have any ideas or suggestions?
Uhm, sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm pretty sure those were just the starter items. I don't think it'll increase the item limit.
That's Boxxy, please never refer to her in positive terms ever again. Sure, you would. But try watching an actual video of her without cringing in physical pain at her voice and general mannerism. And please try to stay on topic. Your post is boardering on a necro as well as being quite spammy, I'd suggest a quick look at the rules to stay on the right side of the tracks in future. I'm fine with letting this thread keep going since the issue was never really discussed properly and it could be a good find if true. As for the idea itself, it sounds interesting. @ A Hobo, he's not trying to increase the item limit, but trying to regain the place of the default objects whilst not having them in the map. The geometry objects are notoriously glitchy in terms of spawning in/out and random and annoying times, making interlocking a real bore, plus they're apparently slightly misshapen in comparison to objects you spawn in yourself. Fact is, you don't need to keep the default geometry items on a canvas, if you delete all the default geometry but keep the spawns (including starting points for all gametypes), respawn areas, objective points and weapons, then you still hit the budget before reaching the OLN. This gets rid of the most annoying aspect of OLN canvases, but tbh it would still be nice to actually work with a pure canvas and not have to reuse the default spawns/spawn areas/objectives etc. Just ask Squidhands, he's somewhat of a champion of this logic, and the man knows what he's talking about. It's certainly saved me a lot of trouble having to interlock and generally Forge with horrible, glitchy default objects. What exactly happened when you overloaded the map, did literally everything disappear, including spawns and starting points in all gametypes? And would it be possible for you to put a copy of this overloaded canvas on your FileShare for people to experiment with? It would be an insanely long process working out if you actually gained anything by doing this, but I know someone would be willing to try, and if so then it could be a big breakthrough in SB canvases, at least in terms of easy Forging..
