Phasis Hello, I made some changes in the map including the name. I made the maulers more in view. (If you grab the overshield you'll get the option to pick it up) I straightend the floor in the red base. I adjusted the cover in front of the bases on either side of the map. I rotated the needler so it would be the same as the other one. (It first was like this < and I changed it to this >) It's an symmetrical map on the skybubble in sandbox. I have to adjust the spawns and flags and bombs etc. for objective games, so I'll post that one later. The map contains: 1X rocket launcher 2X covenant carbine 4X battle rifle 1X plasma pistol 2X needler 2X sniper rifle 2X brute shot 2X mauler 2X frag grenade 8X plasma grenade 1X power drain 1X bubble shield 1X regenerator 1X overshield 1X active camo Top view Bottom view Blue base Red base Rocket building Overshield (picture is coming). Well done, I hope to see a CTF gametype with this map soon. Only 1 thing, there's not much ground cover
thanks, I'm planning on making it after my testweek (gotta learn alot now). I know there isn't much cover, but I am at my object limit so making cover will be hard.
Im very confused... parts of this map look lovely, and others look just plain sloppy... the bases' cover is not well placed, the wall in the bases are far from straigh but this may be due to the glitch on sandbox... I am VERY confused... I'll give it a 4/5 for layout but only a 2/5 for forging sorry but this does not look that great. try making a V2 or something and straighten things out a bit...
Some parts of the map look a bit sloppy, and this also wins the award for most unoriginal map name ever. Other then that, decent looking map. 3/5 ps dont take your pictures in forge.
Lol, the name makes me laugh. Strangely, I dont think it was ever used as a map name before so the guy posting above me is wrong.Kinda. Anyway enough of this offtopic stuff, lets get to the pre-review. From the layout it looks pretty nice and the OS and AC spawns look quite nice, but from what I see there is too little ground cover. And even then the only cover available is right in front of the bases and to be honest, they just look like random junk. Also, the floor in the red base looks pretty sloppy. I know about the glitch that makes the walls tilt but you could at least try to make it better. Since this is a prototype, I'm recommending you to add 1. more DECENT looking cover, 2. some more structures or buildings and lastly 3. change the name.Please.This map actually has the potential to be great but it's just not there yet.I'll DL this and get back to you when i can.
parts of it look good but then just sloppy and not well done like the random cover when you make cover it should look like a natural part of your map
I love it.The roket building is a little overdone so that brings you down.The name is pretty ceazy too.I like the structures and the player could get around easy,in a good way.The insid of the base is pretty cramped.I like the structures for the overshield and the active camo.The mauler was pretty hidden don't you think though.Might want to pop it out a bit.But I really love this map.You could work on some more structure tehniques thogh.I like the map overall.
I dig it I like the layout of your map and the center building breaks up the line of site in a unique way. I'm not shure about the rockets indoors (easy camping in a corner) but other than that your maps inovative and original 4.5/5 don't worry I round up.
