Hello all! I am a new member here at ForgeHub, and have recently completed my first map, SandTrack! I know, unorrigional and corny but I started the first day the maps came out. I have been working on this map for a good 3 weeks now and probably around 20 hours of actually forging put into it, and 3 hours of countless playtests. Now, SandTrack is a fun, fast paced map with a combination of jumps, tight turns, and wide drifts which leads to a very competative race. All surfaces are smooth, and if you can land the jumps (which are challenging) you will gain an upper-hand in the race. Now you aren't meant to land every single jump, or everybody would be in a dead tie the entire game, but if you figure out how to successfully land them you will have an advantage over other players. Now, stop right there. Before you scold my work, two things. 1) I am a brand new forger 2) This map has no banked turns Now you might be wondering why it has no banking turns. That is perfectely reasonable, and the reason being is that I honestly don't know how and what the best techniques are. (Any advice would be appreciated) Now onto the map! nice map but i cant see much from the pictures. Any way it seems like a small map and it's kinda one way type of map. i like the looks of it though id like to download it but yet i still dont seem to have those maps.
Your lucky I have good eyes. May I recomend making a PhotoBucket account and uploading your pictures onto there then here. Anyways the track looks good for your first track, I have already sent you a message about banked turns. AnF Pro Score 3/5

do u expect us to have eagle eyes or the biggest computer monitors ever built? people download maps after looking at the screenshots to check if it looks good, but these screenshots arent going to help that. ive seen small screenshots, but these are just the smallest ones yet! this is just a heads up to help u understand how to build up intirest in your posts and to make peeps want to dl your map EDIT: srry didnt notice u said u were gona fix that
Yea man, the guy above m needs to calm down a little,lol. But yea, I can see there is no banked turns but you explained that already. It does look very good actually, i will download tomorrow when i get to my friends.
Wow. Looks like an excellent Race Track, though I cant tell much from your pictures. I got a suggestion: go to Halo Screenshots, there you can check out the screenshots you took and get them embed by searching your GT (Theres a search bar think at the right... you cant miss it). Anyways looks like you did a good job. Not to many people use those Columns(the gold bars) so I really like that feature. 4/5... 3/5- needs more detail on the pics. Use that website I sent you, It helps.
Alright. I fixed the pictures so you now don't need those eagle eyes to get a feel for the map! Anyways now hopefully I can get some more accurate feedback. Thanks!
