these so much stuff on it you can barely see foundry at all. i like that because its like playing on a completly new map.
The fuel rod was last minute. What was down there kept changing. It went: Plasma rifle and SMG, OS, Rockets, Sword, Hammer, Shotty, Sword, Sentinel Beam, Fuel Rod. Did I forget any guys? Anyway, it was crazy.
Rusty and Shock, i ran around it a bit earlier, and its clear FH really saved the best for last. i really wish i hadn't blown it on Bottleneck so i had the chance to play here for the finals. Showdown or not, i know ill be logging numerous matches here with my buddies. I had a question tho ... i remember the budget saying there were 2 sniper rifles placed on the map, ... but i could only find one, and it only lists one in the map description...? did i just miss it? i thought i looked everywhere, even outside the map (i always check for little easter eggs like the FH outside of Pi). Oh and was there any significance to the little arrangement of scenery near the 01 foundry base? i kept trying to make letters out of it but couldnt figure it out. maybe i just read way too much into it, but it was random and seemed intentional. Anyway i dont agree with Mallet about the fence staircase either, that was one of my favorite parts. That and the lockout-type feeling of shooting the fusion coils to blast the sniper rifle right at me. worked flawlessly every time, i love it. i also disagree with mallet about the high angled ramps, i thought they added a bit of suspense to the map, and really completed the atmosphere. I applaud you both for this map, well done.
Thanks lights, The budget should not say that there are two sniper rigles on the map. So, I am glad if you couldn't find it in the map. The scenery from the 01 base is viewable from the windows, it was meant for asthetic puposes. The fusion coil trick took quite a lot of time to nail down. We wanted it to go down into 'B Chute' so that if there was a player camping up top with sniper you could simply take away his most important assset, his gun. Thanks again lights, I and Shock appreciate the your thoughtful commment. Orange, actually there was a powerdrainer, then a shotty, then an OS, but you were pretty close.
I gotz the soccer ball again YAY. This was an amazing map and I loved it. Rusty GREAT job with the intial layout Shock great job with everything else. Only problem for me is the mauler and no duels. I got killed by the mauler at least 8 times even though there is only one clip it really owns the map. If you are down you have to try and find your enemy and the friend just crouched with it around random corners. Other then that I loved it.
this map is BY FAR the best 1v1 ive seen so far, the pics at the start dont look to flashy but after u download and play u understand what the pics are showing. overall i think its an AMAZING map and i love the spinning walkway that goes up to the street, or the main floor.
another comment: this map is 11/10, amazing! rusty and shock, even though you don't know me, im givin you top scores and more for this amazing map. i wanted to know if there is any little secrets about it that you can tell us without us having to delete the whole map to find out. (im not meaning the aesthetics or the fusion coils btw, and i havent been out yet, so im just wondering) EDIT: oh, never mind, i found the soccer ball. Keep on forgin'. Can't wait to see what you guys dish out next.
Hmm.. fuel rod cannon, that's interesting... I've noticed that it's a pretty weak weapon. I'll download to see more of the map and to see how the fuel rod cannon affects the gameplay.
Like the map I just edited it and made a small zombies map out of it. Zombies works quite well on this map but the spawns need to be edited so you could do this.
this map looks sick, ive been out of town and ive been missing out on some maps. im going to play this as soon as possible, these maps for the tournament have been awesome and this one definately looks like it wont dissapoint either, cant wait to play it. :squirrel_rocking:
