I have a map I made on Sandbox, which I believe features interesting and somewhat unique gameplay, and I know that sort of stuff is usually highly acclaimed and sometimes even featured here. However, I'm not sure wether to post it now, or to wait till after the release of the mythicmaps to everyone to post my map and the gametype which goes with the map. I'm quite hopefull for it, and a lot of work has been done on it, but I just don't know when I should post it. Thaughts? EDIT: When posting, please remember the map has not been tested yet. I suppose it's probably best to test it but not being a user familiar with posting maps I don't know.
Well, test it, of course. Make sure it plays well and nothings wrong. You can easily set up a test with the Testers Guild here.
I'm quite sceptical and untrusting of some random internet people, I assume it's hopefully unlikely that they would steal it? Also just noticed you made Cave Freaks! I took inspiration from Cave Freaks to make ideas in forge with interesting gameplay, just thaught I'd let you know =P
Haha, thanks. No, they won't steal it. It's their 'job', you'll see they test lots of maps in that subboard, and haven't stole any yet
Most people at ForgeHub aren't dicks and don't steal maps. You'll find that most of us are actually very nice and helpful people. (Notice I said most)
Oh good, I'll arrange testing as soon as I can, hopefully soon as the Easter holidays are coming up and I'll have some time away from school to relax.
