Sandbox Vespa

    Hi Forgers,

    This is my first post and first map I have ever shared with the public. It's called Vespa and the idea came from a landing pad, where each player/team would fight it out for a the only hornet sitting waiting for launch. I wanted to create a multi layered map but with no escape or hiding place. The map itself is fairly small so FFA & Doubles might suit it best but I'm sure a Team Slayer would also be good fun. I'm yet to try! There are heavy weapons such as 2x Missle Pods, 1x Rockets, 1x Laser to help remove the threat from the circling hornet above. Standard weapons are 4x BR's, 2x Brute Shots, 1x Shotgun, 1x Needler. Assthetically there are some small problems but generally my merging and placement hasn't been too bad on this map (for my standards) and it doesn't effect the game.

    Any comments, suggestions, improvements etc.. are very much welcome as I'm just getting into this forge lark and I like it ;-)

    pretty nice. like it. is it transport hornet or full-fat hornet? 4.5 out of five but only because i don't like shield doors that dissipate into thin air. Put just a little bar/roof/arch block on top of the shield door bit plz.

    transport hornet, thought the missles on the standard issue hornet would be too overkill. I agree with the shield door bit, will add a little something.

    it looks good. i like the idea of everyone fighting over control of the hornet. from what i can see, the interlocking looks clean too. nice work.

    looks very nice and clean, haven't seen a good symmetrical map in a while, 4.5/5 due to the shield door

    Looks like a nicely interlocked fun map, however i cannot get a feel for it with the amount of pictures you have. Adding a couple more would be nice

    I like the hornet idea, a map always needs something for people to fight over which creates a more fighting and as well as more action.
    I also love the floating platforms with the grav lift underneath. It reminds me of the sniper towers in campaign.

    Since I feel sorry for the map maker because he has no decent comments on his map, I will download this and come back with a review when I am done. Expect an edit.

    Ok so have made some slight changes... Added column above shield doors and changed the area under the hornet as it wasn't too flat and too much jumping involved.

    Have also added King of the Hill which can be controlled by the ground players or the Hornet player and makes it all a bit more interesting.
