[size=+3]Welcome to Unearthed[/size] This sandbox map is set in the crypt. Set as an unearthed tomb, with a peak in the center, and four smaller peaks in the corners. There is also a tunnel netwprk at the base of the map witch provides for more close combat. At the top of the middle peak a man cannon takes you to a higher perch with a machine gun turret for more fun. And finally and the very top a red and blue pillar a placed on opposite sides for flag games, with teleporters linking to them, however the flag spawns at the bottom of the map. this first pic is without the fx effect to show the map better. and here you see the tunnel entrance hub. these are the flag bases heres the download link Halo 3 File Details
I really like the layout of this map. It's different in a really good way. I'm not getting the whole vibe about the map though. So i shall download it as soon as i clear some maps out (because of the 100 map limit). I like your map and i'm going to give you a 4/5 until i get some rounds played on this and get my true opinion. Methinks you need more spawn points, i can only see a few. Also, I think that the ground level would be underused and exposed to fire form above. You can either put in cover or put the majority of power weps there. you know, risk vs reward. Also, when placing a sword, or conversely a sniper rifle, don't put it somewhere that it is most useful i.e enclosed spaces for sword and high ledge for sniper. Otherwise i commend you on your map design, and would love to see a V2 with a full weapon list! cheers
Thanks, I really appreciate any feedback. I'll have to give my spawns a second look. My weapons layout was originally meant to be sort of a however gets to the top first gets the best stuff, but to be fair I haven't had a chance to play my map much either. I usually have regular get together halo parties, but the birth of my child has left that on hiatus. I'll have to try and give it some good play time and see how it flows.
