I never saw V1 but this map looks pretty good. I like the small arena feel but i think that there isn't enough cover for the anyone who is on the top middle of the map.. Good use of interlocking and merging. Hope to see more maps from you in the future :)

good, but i think there should be some ramps going to the middle structure instead of all the jumping. the fence wall that goes to the 2 bases dont look good, maybe sinking the end into the ground.

    other than that good job.

Why did you post V2...again? I just looks through your posts and you've made two of the same post. Anyway, the map looks good, but it's too open. You can literally look from one side to the other. But apart from a slight lack of cover, it looks good. 7/10.

    Wow! Serious deja vu.
This is exactly like the post you did 21 hours ago HERE just minus the poll and posted in competitive maps instead of casual. I'm kinda new here but I didn't kno you could post the same post in two categories.

Anyway, the map does look really nicely forged, I was impressed the first time I saw it. Especially the part which has the merged sign Bs which is probably my favourite bit as well as the stairs in the middle of the map. I'll give this map a DL to see how it plays but like the guy above me said it does look a bit open. I'll edit this post once I've actually played on it to give it a fairer review.

Well, I could bash this map for lack of cover and high power weapon concentration (Two snipers in an arena map?), but I won't. I'm commenting on how cool the actual bowl you made is, along with the side bases. The one other complaint I have besides those that I didn't make is that nobody likes jumping in an FPS (At least I don't.), use more ramps.

Nice interlocking, design, and i'm sure the gameplay is also great.
The weapons seem a little off balance, but i'm not sure. I'd have to give it a dl as soon as i can dl stuffs.
So for now, i give you an 7.5/10

Did you know that you can look from one end of the map to the other on The Pit, Sand Trap, Warlock, Lock Out...And most of the official Bungie maps.

It takes true skill to make an open map. Not many forgers can do it. Anyone can make enclosed rooms. It takes talented level design to make sight lines in an open map. There is a reason why almost all of Bungie's maps are open.

People shouldn't judge maps based on open or not open. You don't see Bungie getting knocked for their maps not looking like CoD maps.

If you like Closed maps because that's your favorite, or because the 1v1 tournament made them trendy than that's your business. But it is irrelevant and stupid when reviewing an open map, and knocking it because it's open.

If a map is open, but lacks sufficient cover and distorted sight lines then it should be judged(by people who like open maps and know what to judge it on). All this "It's too open," nonsense reminds me of when a so called "Top Critic" knocks a horror movie because it's...well a horror movie. If you don't like those kind of movies then mind your own business and don't review them. Same goes for open maps. Keep your comments and reviews in places were your expertise matters.

Bungie loves them, why don't you.
