I recently found a forging technique that has never been mentioned before. And before I go into great detail about this I want to know peoples opinions on this. I was screwing around in forge and I glitched myself out of the map. Now when you’re out of the map you either die when you hit the ground or objects delete themselves when they are set. So I spent a couple hours trying to get around this problem, and figured something out. I found out how to set objects onto a surface that will kill you and delete the object you set. The objects will never get deleted, and you will not die if you stand on the objects you set. So post your opinion if you are interested in making objects stay on the outsides of the map.

It's a great feeling to find stuff like this on your own, but unfortunately, it's widely known and there are some older featured maps that use this very situation. I haven't seen it done on Foundry, so I'd be interested to see what you've done.

I know how. You can push the open double box onto the ground and S&Q.

Could this help us get further outside the map?

why didnt you just say it. You could have told us what it was in less words. Also we already know the S&Q and there isnt much more room for improvement,.

No this cannot get us more outside the map. But I can work on trying to glitch myself farther out of the map.

Alright that is enough posts for me. So what you have to do is when you spawn the object you want, immovable or not, place it in the position you want. Do not set the object down, keep it there then save and quit. This works great with a large party it gets the job done a lot faster. Another way is you can hold an object on the ground, have a second player put a receiver node onto it, delete the object you are holding, then set the object you want onto it. But sometimes this may not work with smaller objects, I don’t know why but it doesn’t. You can save and quit for the smaller objects but you can hardly walk on them and they fall off the nodes easily. Either way all of the methods are time consuming, and I have found other ways of doing this that dose not involve saving and quitting and a second player but the ways I have found still have bugs in it and don’t work all of the time, but when I get it perfected I promise I will post it right away.

I was hoping I could get this into forging 101, since it has never been posted there.

    Triple Posting=Fail.

BTW, that's Forging 101 Advanced Floating and also what I said. So you lose three times.
