    MLG ASSEMBLY
    v3.0

    Hey everyone.
    Over the past days I have started a fairly easy project of making Assembly a fair fighting ground for the MLG gametype. I am aware that there already different versions, but I disagree with some of the aspects within those layouts. This map is tested and tweaked for equality, and everything is 100% symmetrical and abides to the MLG rules.
    No movable objects or explosives are present in this map.

    Weapons:

    Plasma Grenades x4
    Frag Grenades x6
    Battle Rifle x4
    Covenant Carbine x2
    Mauler (drop spawned) x1
    Rocket Launcher (drop spawned) x1
    Custom Powerup x1

    Screens:

    Custom-made barrier to prevent too much falling off behind BR

    Active camo replaced with custom powerup for more intricate gameplay

    Mauler drop-spawned bottom mid. Explosives to the side removed.

    first post i like what you did to it looks like good fun balnced gameplay like the barrier though it may be a bit unneccesary and i actually havnt seen many of these

    Thanks. I just put the barrier there because that's where I fell off the most playing on this map, and falling off slows down gameplay, which ended up with me putting the barrier there. Thanks for the feedback.

    Personally I would get rid of the barrier, move custom bottom mid, move mauler under regen spawn, and replace rockets with a plasma pistol.

    tbh i would just let MLG take care of this. there is a lot more to making a map MLG than changing weapons and power-ups. and it seems in the videos when they did they early tests before the maps went public the gameplay was fairly balanced.

    Oh I know, I changed the spawn points as well.
    I just wanted to get this out there for us MLG'ers to practice on before the official MLG variant is released.

    mauler and custom shuld be so close together i think you should choose between mauler or custom. i believe the map is to small for custom so (mauler) =D

    looks good, you should put up some barriers, with the weapon holder on top, around the map.

    I think I would prefer the Camo over the Custom.

    And this map is asking for a Sniper. I would put it over the Regen platform.

    I think most of the weapon placements in this are good actually, but I do agree about replacing rockets with plasma pistol at purple (to counter custom powerup) and I would lose the explosive barrels by purple as top purple is enough of a grenade trap to make it hard to hold.

    I haven't tried out the spawns yet but they look really sparse... but I'm running mythic customs for my Clan tomorrow night and this will be one of the maps we'll be playing. I'll try two variants, this one and with plasma pistol at top purple and let you know which we think played best and if the spawn points worked.

    I think you did a good choice on te weapons and power weps but as a guidline on multiplayer maps it is good to have power weapons Lower so the team on top doesn't also control all the power weapons. But, GJ anyway
