This effect is rather easy, and can be done in a few easy steps. It creates an "afternoon" light, not noon, and embraces the sunset. You would see this kind of sky during the later hours in the day, while it is still light. If you would like a more "noon-ish" light, follow Lawful Chili's guide farther below, in the comments. Step 1: Go to Forge, and go into the sky bubble or a map without Guardians (which can be found here: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/casual-maps/58912-sand-blasted-sandbox-without-guardian-towers.html) Step 2: Spawn a wall to place the objects on. Step 3: Spawn the Gloomy FX. Step 4: Spawn the Juicy FX. Step 5: Spawn a flare with instant respawn (set the 'run-time minimum' to the 'run-time maximum'). Step 6: Throw a few flares. Step 7: Go into Theater mode and move the floating cam near the flare. And... oh snap, it's done! Here are some examples of the finished product: This effect also used the "sketch effect" by throwing a grenade.
Wow, it looks like the sky above Isolation. I never knew there was a planet up there too. Nice guide though.
Awsome guide.I love the people that give out to the community.I like the guide because I never knew how to do this. And I ope you know, the photographers inc. contest's theme is sandbox.I like the lighting,it helps people that suck at lighting with the contest.Overall is great guide but not thouroughly explained well to me.
Thats pretty sweet looking. Too bad you can't have some infinitely spawning light thing to make it always look like that.
k, well i guess that would be "noon" or what the f*ck ever. this makes a more afternoon-kinda sun, notice how most of my pics focus on the setting sun. it just makes it more vibrant, and would be later in the day. so there ya go, morning, afternoon, and night all on the same map.
