Foundry Traumatized v2

    Traumatized v2 is my newest competitive map. It uses a little over half of Foundry and is symmetrical in concept but not totally symmetrical in design. This means the bases have the same general design but due to space issues and lack of items, they are a little different. Both bases house a sniper and a regenerator, and they both feature a lift and several ways in. Both sides have a 2nd story walkway which is good for sniping but provides no cover. There is a mongoose for each base. In the middle of the map there is a Spartan Laser on the built wall and a Ghost on Foundry's wall.

    v2 Changes: I have fixed the spawns, moved the oddball spawn, and tinkered with the weapons and equipment a little bit.

    wow this is really good. all the interlocking is smooth and the geomerging is flawless.

    could you give us more pics of the overview of the map that be great

    anyway great job

    and i like all the lifts that makes the map whole lot better

    awesome map. it's insanely clean, it flows, it has much interlocking and geomerging, and is a very original layout. it is just insane, how almost everything that can possibly be geomerged is geomerged...

    definite dl from me.

    but i also think you should make an overview pic, if possible.

    this may possibly be one of the best, cleanest, most eye appealing maps ive ever seen ill definately dl and i hope this gets featured :D

    but i also think an overview pic would be nice :) i like wat i c but i cant quite get a full feel for how this map looks... but ill look at it soon once i dl... :p

    Looks like another winner foundry map! Your forging is impressive, but the layout and design is what caught my eye. And its good to see three vehicles on the map! Anytime someone makes the ghost work on a foundry, ya know the map rocks. And i particularly like all the ramps and ledges, making it easy to get to higher elevation quickly. I find it interesting that you used the trip mine, and i can't wait to see how well it works. I bet this would work well for one flag, but i noticed that isnt in the description of compatible gametypes. Does it work anyways, with the flag points set up like that? And i'm glad the bases aren't totally symmetrical. The way it worked out seems to be best. But this is all based off of what i can tell from the pictures and description. Hopefully its just as impressive in person. I'll come back after I get some games on it. Great map!

    EDIT: after a few rounds on this, i was pretty happy with it. The ghost worked out quite nicely, but not as well as i had predicted. The snipers were very balanced, and the trip mine was a pain for the vehicles. I only played slayer and i still plan to get some CTF going on this. Overall, it played great, and it is well made!

    This is completely spam. You must include what you like and dislike about the map and why. Please try to actually take time in your posts instead of just running up your post count.

    On to the map, it looks really good. The map looks like to the pictures don't justify it right. It looks to have great game play. The map does look like it is pretty tight and that while the sniper is always somewhat important, it is not quite as important as in other maps. Correct me if I am wrong about that though. I like how people are still using Foundry even though a hundreds of Sandbox maps come in every day because foundry has it's advantages. This map deserves a 4.8/5 just because I can't give a 5/5 to a map I have not tested game play with. You have gotten my download.

    can you make yor description in something other than white please i like the design and layout looks like iy would play well elevation changes are always good good job i wish i could read descriotion tho

    This map is amazing. The geomerging and interlocking is amazing. How long did it take to make this? Also i like how you went into great detail on the weapon list. Now with the release of Sandbox, i rarely download maps on Foundry, but this one is definetaly worth my download. 5/5

    I went through a forge through with you yesterday and I must say it is looks very appealing! It is one of the most original maps I have seen because basically nothing has ever been made like this. The layout is creative and it seem like it would have really good flow to it. I recommend downloading this to give it a forge through at the least. Try playing a few matches on it.

    Yes this should work for One Flag. I never tested One Flag but the way it is set up it should work.

    The ghost was not meant to be the dominant part of the map. I didn't want any one weapon or vehicle be dominant, that's why I balanced everything (i.e. 2 snipers, laser and/or trip mine vs. ghost).

    And CTF plays very well. You will have a lot of fun with CTF.

    Yeah I took a lot of time doing all of the interlocking and geomerging on this map. It was tedious and took quite a while but I think it payed off.

    <3 the geomerging, i was never any good at geomerging, interlocking sure, but i can't seem to push them in, i know how etc (properly yes) but you have done a very nice job, my personal favorite is the Mongoose shed thing =)

    I spent a lot of time making sure everything was clean and didn't detract from gameplay by having little bumps. Some of the geomerges were pretty complicated but I was happy with the end result.

    And if you're having trouble with geomerging, check out this thread. It was very helpful to me and I'm sure it will help you and other newer members.

    This looks really awsome.I like the spartan laser position,it makes it look like a goloiath yower that stands behind it.The geo merges are great.And the aseathics are the bomb here.To top that I like the stuctures you set up.Overall the map could be feature worthy.

    What do you mean by a goliath tower? You know the Laser is inside that open box right?
