Well i just came back from Nicolas Cages new movie Knowing and honestly i thought it was amazing! first off the disasters in the movie were completely... i dont know how to say it... hmmm... it was 4ws0me133 3p1c w1n. oh and the story to the movie was the same. the best part you were constantly thinking what the hell is going to happen yet you know exactly what is! phew got that out of my system anyways get off your computers and go see it right now unless the theaters are closed then wait till morning then go see it!. p.s. great movie to bring your girlfriend too
I can't be the only one in the world who thinks that Nicholas Cage always stars in the crappiest movies and is one of the ugliest people in the American movie industy.
Wow, what are you smoking? I thought that movie was horrible (and then, of course, the fact that it was extremely awkward with other things...) But really, it sucked. The plane crash scene was pretty epic, but other than that, the plot and way it tied all together made absolutely no sense at all.
What was it about exactly? cause what i derived from the previews was it was exactly the same as his other movie 'Next'
the reason why you thought it sucked is because you didnt pay attention to the religios side of the story ex. when they put the 2 kids on the new planet you were probaly thinking why. well ever heard of adam and eve? basically according to the bible the first humans were adam and eve and they made civilization as of today. by the way it made you think and wonder something most movies dont have
Was good until the last half hour. No matter the Christianity reference, it got dumb as ****. There needed to be more action.
\ No he plays in great movies, unless your not smart enough to understand the movies he plays in like national treasure 1 and 2 and now knowing. They are all great
National Treasure was the dumbest ****ing movie since...I don't know, since movies were invented. Here's the basic premise of the movie. "OMFG THERES A TREASURE" "ORLY?" "YARLY ITS AMERICAN TOO" "LOL NO WAI" "BUT IN ORDER TO FIND IT YOU HAVE TO GO TO ANTARCTICA AND BLOW UP A SHIP AND THEN STEAL THE CONSTITUTION" "LOLWUT" "AND THEN YOU HAVE TO GO DOWN THIS TUNNEL INSIDE A TOMB IN NEW YORK AND YOU'LL FIND THE TREASURE" "LOL COOL" "EXCEPT ITS ALL EGYPTIAN AND MAYAN AND **** AND THE WHOLE BACKSTORY TO IT IS STUPID AND NICHOLAS CAGE GETS SCOTT FREE FOR ****ING STEALING THE GODDAMN CONSTITUTION" "LOL" "ALSO HE HOOKS UP WITH THIS CRAPPY ACTRESS INSIDE THIS HUGE MANSION AND HIS SIDEKICK IS DRIVING A SUPA NICE CAR AND BITCHES ABOUT HOW HIS LIFE SUCKS" "LOL K THEN"
I liked national treasure the first time I watched it, and then the second and other thousand times it was on Tv got ****ing boring, he is a okay actor, but I think he is over dramatic. This movie looked okay, but I don't think I will watch it.
wow mabey i should change the title to nicolas cage: good or bad actor and get it moved to the debate forum
it was a good movie you kinda had to know stuff about religion tho because there was alot of religous reffrences
I think negativity toward Nicolas Cage is more of a fad than High School Musical. He's done bad movies, lots of actors have done bad movies, but he has also done good movies. You have to realize it is mostly the agents who control what movie an actor will star in... And agents love crappy movies that pay big. Anyway, this movie does not interest me. My friend said that our group should see it, and I say we should see Duplicity. We saw Duplicity and loved it. Edit: Oh, and National Treasure is not an exceptionally good movie. It is decent at best, but I don't want to even mention the second. No, if you think that National Treasure is the best movie Nicolas Cage has starred in, then you have obviously never seen Adaptation.
Even though I haven't seen either of these movies I have something ironic to say about what you said here. Well, my parents wanted to go to the movies and see Knowing, I didn't go with because I thought the plot looked stupid from the previews. Turns out that Knowing was sold out, so instead they seen Duplicity. And what was Duplicity about? I just recently seen Taken and I personally thought that it was one of the better movies released since Dark Knight. (I really haven't seen any movies lately though)
Duplicity was another master piece by Tony Gilroy, which had smart people in a stupid situation. Basically, everyone wants something but they are chasing nothing.
I thought it was brilliant. The ending was not my choice for something good though. Question: Spoiler Your thoughts on the ending? Personally, I really did not like it. That the Black Coated people turned out to be Angels when in the middle of the movie they act like stalkers or demons. Where is the place where Calem and the other girl went? Another planet? What was that tree? Is it Adam and Eve reborn? The ending was a major turn off for me. Sadface.
