    Ventilation
    Conquest Map

    Ventilation is a small, winding passage way built around the conquest gametype. Some aspects of the map are kinda different from the typical conquest map layout...Don't kill me plz k thnx. The name comes from the duct that runs through the linear part of the map that provides access to the middle territory from a third direction. The middle hallway is the main choke point in the map. The main hallway is two floors with fence floor that allows for combat through the ground, so there is nowhere to hide. The vetilation duct also crosses the hallway perpendicularly, which also has a fence floor. I know this is against some sort of conquest rule, but me and my friends had fun on it so I figured that I should share it. Maybe some pictures will make the map a little easier to understand.

    Battle Rifle-2
    SMG-1
    Sniper-1
    Carbine-1
    Flame Grenade-1
    Plasma Grenade-2

    Nuetral Weapons:
    Mauler-1
    Flamethrower-1

    Equipment:
    Deployable Cover-1

    ^^Entrance to the ventilation duct and sniper spawn under the B-sign (Same on other side)

    ^^The vents (Mauler in the middle)

    ^^Flamethrower helps control the middle hallway a lot

    ^^Flame grenades can block the ventilation shafts for a couple of seconds

    I know that i played with the normal conquest style, and I am sorry. This map does still play well and is a lot of fun (So I was told...). You never know, it might be the greatest map evar!! *Swing Fist*

    it looks innovative but equipment can reall take away from the full on rush that conquest endorses and insures. a third entrance to the middle territory is an interesting take though...
    ill try it out and play it tomorrow.

    Ya...i understand what you are saying about the equipment, but the deployable cover basically blocks one of the two floors to the middle hallway. It's not too influential. Thanks for the commentz.

    Looks like a well built map, but have you tried geo merging the double boxes in picture 5 into the ground?

    This also covers a VERY indepth guide on how to build a proper Conquest map complete with a map checklist... you might want to update your Conquest download link...

    I am aware of the new conquest gametype, but I didn't put the link because I believe the map plays better with the old version and the map was also finished way before v4 came out. I am also aware that this map does not follow th "checklist" by any means. However, it does play well. You don't have to consider it a conquest map if you don't want to. Just something that I figured I'd post and sharez it with the communitar.
