Working on an Interesting Sandbox VIP/Infection Variant

    Intro:
    I'm making a VIP map, in which you are going to various checkpoints around the map. It will take place on the middle level of Sandbox. This map may have similar gameplay to Cave Freaks. So here's the story:

    Story:
    Some soldiers go into a deserted wasteland, looking if there are any survivors of a recent nuclear explosion. The nuclear explosion was dropped onto a civilization. So the game starts, in a house, the soldiers already found a survivor, an old man, who is the VIP, which is the father of the military generals father. So the goal of the game, keep the old man alive, while going to the various checkpoints, which are different buildings that you are looking through to find more survivors. But there's a catch:

    Zombies:
    There are many mutated people out there, which are the attackers. They are trying to prevent you from doing anything. I have a few options that could be tweaked. I'm giving the players unlimited lives, the attackers will spawn in a linear path around the map, spawning by ghosts and banshees along the way. But to even it out, the defenders will spawn at the starting base, to give an insentive to survive, because if you die you will respawn far from the VIP, leaving him to die.

    VIP Team Traits:
    200% Damage Resistance
    No Shields
    Immune to Headshots
    110% Damage
    Magnum
    SMG
    No Radar

    Attackers:
    50% Shield Recharge Time
    75% Damage Modification
    Needler
    No Grenades
    No Weapon Pickup
    110% Speed
    No Radar
    Forced Color Purple

    TRAITS NOT MENTIONED ARE DEFAULT

    Chapters:


    Act I:
    You spawn in a building with your VIP, the old man. Each soldier has a magnum and an smg. But for some self defense, the old man has a magnum, given to him by a soldier. But immediately after the game persudes, a very intense openning battle takes place, as the zombies are just waiting outside of the house. Humans should prove as the winners, but all the fallen soldiers will regroup with the team shortly after. The group will walk to the first checkpoint but then:

    Act II:
    The zombies spawn by ghosts, which really help fight the soldiers. Though a very important power weapons spawns right outside the first house, a rocket with two shots. You must use it very carefully, as a missed rocket shot can cost your team the round. As you take out the ghosts, your VIP will run up a two-story high ramp to get to the top of the building and get to the fist checkpoint. In case the ghosts are still being a pain, a power-drain spawns up at the first check-point, which only a soldier can pick-up, as the VIP can't pick-up weapons.

    Outro:
    I have a name for the map, the Gametype being searching, and the map being a wasteland, so the game itself will be called searching on a wasteland.     Current Progress:

    I made the first two acts, the buildings, the spawns, the checkpoints, etc. Also made the gametype.

    Nice title, looks very similar to this.

    Not only that, but your gametype is similar to my VIP varient, The Fallen, for the **** Zombie map, the Last Day.

    Cool idea though, but give credit where credit is due next time.

    how is it similar to the fallen? i don't see it.

    It's just VERY similar traits to the gametype. I thought you might have based this one off The Fallen based on that information.

    Oh I haven't played the Fallen, sorry if it seems like I based it off of it, but I honestly had no idea.

    It's just random then. Whatever, ignore the previous comments.

    I do like your idea though, projects divided into seperate sections usually turn out well.
