This is my first map on forgehub, so if I did something wrong please tell me. There is little to no merging and interlocking i this map, but gameplay is still pretty good. This map is made on Foundry, it uses all of Foundry, and is semi-symmetrical. This has two bases each equipped with a teleporter, a two floor central structure, a back walk way that houses the teleporter exits, and everthing is connected with bridges. Weapons on map, swat version only has brs, magnums, and carbines 1 Laser 1 sword 1 sniper 1 beam rifle 1 hammer 1 needler 1 shotgun 2 carbines 2 brute shots 4 magnums 4 maulers 4 spikers 4 smgs 8? brs 10? plasma rifles 16? sticky nades Equipment 3 or 4 bubble shields 2 grav lifts 2 tripmines 1 regenerator 2 power drains 1 overshield 1 invisibility Vehicles 2 warthogs 6 mongooses The map is made for 2-8 players, and I believe the best game types for the map are SWAT (the best), slayer, ctf, swat ctf, and assault. Territories would be fun but I haven't set it up yet, might release a version 2 with territories and KOTH. you did everything right. good job on your first post. it has a neat design to it you might want to use interlocking or geomerging. it would really help out you map. go to forging 101 on the left of the home page (a lot of forge hub members really want interlocking and geomerging.)
Ugh First of all no interlockiong TOOOOO many power weapons and those Br's in the shelves only put 1 The maps got potential i like the layout Some spots little clustered but hey fix it up and read forging 101 you'll be making great maps in no time 3/5 Make a version 2 P.s i like how you made swat version
I think this map looks sweet it would be so aweseom for KotH. Some jerk made the thread 2 stars so I gave you a 5 and got it up to 3
I really enjoy the map design, but just have a few comments Just a bit to many power weapons and a bit to close together Hammer, Sword, Shotgun ---> To many CQB weapons on a mid range map Also with your grenades...you have a lot, i read in one of the weapon placement guides that the best way to have grenades is to have no more than two types and subtract two from your max suggested amount of players and that is a fair amount. On my previous note, love the map...just a bit crazy with all the power weapons, to unbalanced for me =\ 4.5/5 EDIT: P.S Great Job on your first post dude! Been a while since I've seen someone get it right!
for ur first map post its good but my only concerns are that there is way way way to many power weopons and eqiupment and try to use more geomerges were needed and alot of interlocking great job on ur first post though 2/5
meh, dont use interlocking unless you need it, but good map, just maybe make it a little less clustered
Gameplay is actually very good without interlocking and merging all the testers liked it and didn't complain but i was planning to do so in version 2
It looks good, the layout isn't bad, but the aesthetics are were it gets let down. It just looks sloppy. Some walls are falling over, some objects are just piled up. Interlocking helps this, and just makes maps smoother. Improve the map and you'll improve my score. 6/10.
