    Sandstrocity-v2:

    Description:
    An Asymmetric type map that has strategic cover and firepower for both teams. Version 2 is the more completed version, version 1 was a sort of rough draft.

    Gametype(s):

    Sand Bomb
    -A fast paste Neutral Bomb GameType where both teams rush for the ball. 1 Score to win, 3 rounds.
    stONE Flag
    -A One Flag type game where the defenders use the pyramids advantages to fend off the Attackers. 1 Score to win, 4 rounds.

    Im sorry, but due to lack of a good description, its hard for me to tell whats going on in this map. It kinda looks to me like you just kinda threw around items. Also, dont reate your own map, it makes you look like a n00b. I am glad that you didnt take your screenshots in forge though ^.^

    so... that little area is the entire map? the attackers spawn base looks utterly horrible. that one little area doesn't serve much purpose rather than a spawn point. make the attacker's base much more elaborate. and the random stuff randomly put around the map doesn't serve much purpose either. at least try and make the middle area look purposeful in the much-needed v3. also, what weapons are on the map? i can't really tell because you kinda didn't list it.

    Yeah, the attacker's spawn isn't so great. There should be at least 2 entrances to a base, and 3 or more is preferable depending on the size of the map. There seems to be a lack of prominent or "unique" structures that would make someone want to download the map, as the whole pyramid idea has been rehashed again and again. The random stuff laid around the map is sloppy and we have no idea what the weapons are, like the above poster said.

    We are commenting on the balance... one of the bases has only 1 entrance, and the other is totally open. I don't see the balance here.

    On the other hand, gameplay < looks when this type of gameplay has already been done 50,000 times on Sandbox

    They can't camp in there, just look at the pictures, the bomb spawns in the center. Forcing the attackers out of the base. Also, he has a point about the entrance. Try making a mini base instead of a few walls. Keep on forging, you will get better!

    While this map looks interesting, its kind of sloppy. Maby in the next version you could make it look a little nicer. Nice job though.

    Nothings sloppy about it. If you look at it in game, everything is straightened. well paralleled with the other objects. I placed those other objects as cover. I agree that its not a very good looking map, but the gameplay is pretty good

    I see a lot of maps with objects thrown around as strategic cover to compensate for the lack of structures in open areas.
    It's the two bases, and the cover. This map seems as if it would only work for specific gametypes.

    And I do not like the placement of the gravity hammer.


    Don't get me wrong, I don't believe that it's lack of forging skill on your part, just a little laziness. If not laziness then impatience. As if you started to make a nice map and rushed it.

    Look at all the amazing maps on this website, and read what it took for the creation.
    Often multiple forgers and well more than a day.

    not the best work here, kinda seemed like u started out with some good effort, but got impatient and just started placing single objects at random, the general idea has potential, but u'll need to do some major work to get my download

    Sounds like Nooblets comment.... Although I do admit that i got really lazy.... My newest upcomming map, Symphonic, is getting much more attention and is going to be one of my best works so far.

    If you want to put some cover on a map, at least make it appealing. Add something that you can crouch under, but then stand and be able to shoot over it. Also the attackers base doesn't look very asethetically pleasing. I suggest you take the obelisks and turn them around. Also from the looks of it there doesn't seem to ba any weapons in the attackers base. These are just what I think would make your map a little better. 2/5

    P.S. - Add a weapons list and a better description.
