Powerslave V2 by Powerslave67 This is my second map made on Sandbox. I'm not ready to post my first because I don't have enough screenshots. The map supports all gametypes, but aren't good for infection or juggernaut. The map consists of 2 main bases (where the 2 teams spawn), sniper tower (where sniper and bubble shield spawn), 2 secondary bases (where the objectives spawn), tunnels, and Mummy's Tomb (Rocket Spawn). Note: If you notice the center wall in the map is crooked, I could fix it because I was too far into the map and didn't get back to it. Please deal with it. I got to say, this looks good. just dont post pictures with affects on, create another forge version of the map without them and power that up. i would also suggest not taking them in forge, kinda annoying to some people, other than that i have to complement you for your great second map As for this, post in the normal colour as it switches for oldschool to black from this grayish white from forgehub x
This looks pretty good but I think the FX might be a little distracting to gameplay. The forging looks pretty good. The layout is kind of basic but it looks like it was executed well. It looks like there is only one way through the large wall in the center. That could either make or break your map. I'll have to DL and play this.
If I were you I'd take off the black and white FX. And for the love of god make your text readable in old school. Overall it looks good, but it wouldn't work well for flag due to the distance between bases. Id think about having some change between symmetric and assymmetric. like a thin wall.
I like it and I'm gonna DL and get back to ya with a review. However, I wouldn't use any colorless FXs (old time, colorblind, etc.) in a team map solely for the sake of keeping call outs available (lol its kinda hard to tell your teammates an enemy is at red base when everyone's colorblind and they don't see red, eh?)
I have to say, this map looks good, but there is no action shots, which is usually a good thing in a thread.
I actually like the colorblind FX. No offense but your map looks similar to a lot of others that have already been made. So putting on the FX makes your map appear fresh and original. Idk how it would effect gameplay, but I'm glad someone went and used an FX that isn't gloomy or juicy in their map. + originality points.
Taking the pictures in forge brings attention to the fact that your center wall wasn't perfectly straight across the middle.. other than that, I think the map looks pretty good.
Lol. I love the name. It looks like it has a nice layout, along with a decent weapon set. I would consider making another link to a version w/o "Colorblind" on. If you would do that, I would definately DL(I would remove it myself, but I don't want it saying that I'm the author because I would most likely share this with friends). A nice map, and an overall 4.5/5(just make another link for a SFX-less version)!
I like it a ton, it's a lot better without the color effects, if you still have the map with them, i would recommend removing them permanently -Arc7ic
